Feeling really frustrated - I know going on walks helps get baby moving but the idea of getting dressed and walking is so 😫 I don't have the energy! It's cold and foggy and putting shoes on takes an age. Just going to continue pumping/colostrum harvesting/bouncing on ball/walking upstairs sideways. I'm being so lazy 🥴 she'll come when she feels like it
I know people on tik tok like to debate the ‘best’ time of year to get pregnant/have a baby blah blah. There obviously isn’t one, but having only had a summer baby it’s bits like this I can’t wrap my head around (being far along in the winter!). Like going outside? No thank you🤣 also intrigued what footwear you’re all sporting? I didn’t get overly swollen, but enough that popping sliders/sandals on was the most comfy. Anything more was an absolute no😆

I've got some fur lined crocs. Love that I can slip them on without bending over lol

I've been lucky and had no swelling at all so still in my Vans 😅

No swelling but can just about get my socks on. I’ve been living in filas because they’re just that bit big on me that never open the laces and have always slipped them on 😂

I’ve not swelled at all (yet - 32 weeks) so my shoes and everything still fit bit harder to bend down to get them on. I am wearing my flat thick soles with grip boots given how icy it had been the last couple of days and I’m not enjoying feeling super cautious just trying to go about daily life! Summer would definitely be easier with no risk of falling over!

I’m in pregnancy rage mode this evening. Have some sort of viral infection, called GP to ask if they could prescribe anything pregnancy safe. There’s a pharmacy next to the surgery which is at the top of my road but they decided to send my prescription to another pharmacy. Had to collect in the car during evening rush hour and all they have prescribed is a hayfever nasal spray. As a long time hayfever sufferer I already know these are useless! Any recommendations for good at home remedies?

Lemon and good honey that's literally it and as much rest as you can. Not much else

When did everyone start to feel movement in their first pregnancy? I’m 18 weeks and haven’t felt them yet, I know they say between 16-24 weeks but I’d like to start feeling them now 🤣 (I’ll probably eat my words soon!)
I was 24 weeks! 21/22 weeks with my second one now. Do you know yet if your placenta is anterior or posterier?

Morning everyone, hope your all ok 🥰 I am nearly 7 weeks pregnant and last night I had a really intense burning sensation in my lower back and round the front of my tummy. It lasted for around 5/10 minutes and then went and then half an hour later had the same again for another 5/10 minutes. It's just made me feel worried that there is something wrong, I haven't had any bleeding or anything or any watery discharge just this intense burning sensation last night. I don't know whether it could of been trapped wind which caused the pain? As when I got up this morning I had quite a lot of wind (sorry for the TMI haha) or whether its something to worry about. Has anyone else suffered with this? Or have any ideas what it could be? We have an early scan next Tuesday but tempted to see if I can move it forward just to check everything is OK. xx

27 weeks tomorrow and I was supposed to have a midwife appointment this morning, she’s cancelled 10 minutes before. I’m gutted, I wanted to listen to baby 😭

Have you had any problem peeing, could it be a UTI?
You could call the doctor and see about a referral to the EPU but without bleeding or it being ongoing, they’re probably unlikely to see you.

I'm one "any sign of the baby?" message away from snapping and deleting WhatsApp 😅 my 'mother' who I'm not close to at all has been messaging me saying things like "Tell her Nannas waiting!"... please just go away and leave me alone thanks, I don't enjoy talking to you at the best of times.

Id say this will drive me nuts, I've already discussed with my partner once I'm in the hospital don't tell them a thing 😂 don't tell anyone nothing. Same when I went into a&e a couple of weeks ago I said absolutely nothing until I knew everything was OK. I'm probably just going to block everyone 😅

Oh when it's go time I am absolutely deleting WhatsApp and having my husband be the public relations manager. The in laws will know because they're taking us but I have a much better relationship with them than I do my own 'family', my mum (makes me cringe calling her that) will be told but that's it. Everyone else can wait 🙃

Just keep thinking it's your and your husbands baby that's who matters. Nobody else does. Be selfish 😏😏

On whatsapp I turned off my ‘last seen’ so people wouldn’t know if I’d been online or offline for any time. Also turned off the blue ticks so they can’t see if I’ve read their message and ignored them 🤣

I'm the same - I've found my antisocial people 😅 ironically on a very supportive forum!
