I can’t bare the ‘are they here yet?’ texts, like surely we’d have let you know if they was!!! Leave me alone!!
Mute the conversations and put your phone away. I've already warned my hubby I'll throw the phone in his face if I even see him on what's app or messengerI really wish with my first we didn’t tell anyone I was in labour, both our phones were pinging every minute with people texting asking for updates. My partner felt bad so spent the majority of my labour on his phone texting them back which I hated.
I’d do it this time but my family will be watching my little one when I’m in labour so they’ll have to know and just be spamming our phones again
I’m one of those with their Snapchat map on for very close friends. Had a scare recently and turned it off on the way to the hospital and the nosey ducks noticed straight away 🫣 ‘where are you?’ Messages all day 🥲On whatsapp I turned off my ‘last seen’ so people wouldn’t know if I’d been online or offline for any time. Also turned off the blue ticks so they can’t see if I’ve read their message and ignored them![]()

I done this when my friend had her first, when she had her second and looked back at how overbearing I must of been I gave them their space, especially as there was 11 months between the kids and she turned against me and said I was a bad friendPre kids I knew my friend was in labour and was texting her the whole time for updates and once the baby was here texting her the whole time asking how everything was going! I feel so bad and cringe now looking back knowing how annoying it isbut does make me more relaxed towards people doing it to me if they don’t have kids

There’s a free breastfeeding class this Saturday and I think next Saturday through the Baby Academy that might be useful? I attended their Hypnobirthing one the other week. All online and no cameras so can join from bed if you want to! And they send the presentation a few days afterwards so you can read through again in your own timeWhat’s everyone’s thoughts on anti-natal classes? I’ve been looking online and they’re all quite expensive. I’m intrigued by hypnobirthing and would like to learn about breastfeeding

We've done antenatal, mainly my husband wanted to go but very informative. I found it helpful with what your body naturally is capable of during labour and breast feeding positions. What’s everyone’s thoughts on anti-natal classes? CongratulationsJust posting here because I can’t anywhere else yet: after infertility, gynae issues and conditions since I was 12 and a big scare this week, I got to see my 5+ week pregnancy and their little heartbeat today and the pregnancy was confirmed as viable![]()

It was the nausea after about an hour for meHad my gestational diabetes test number one. The orange flavour of the goo isn't so bad but why does the after taste have to be between a wet paper bag and a postage stamp?![]()
