This may be a bit personal but anyone else's husband/partner not want to cut the cord if the opportunity is presented to them? He's said no, I don't really mind (his body, his choice etc) but I just thought it was the norm. I don't want him to regret not doing it, either.

) and they asked me and my mum about 4 times if either of us wanted to and it was a resounding no. One of the midwives seemed a bit taken aback but when I explained i pass out at blood tests and the only people below my stomach would be medical professionals she backed off

no regrets btw, tbh I had so much going on in the end I didn’t even think about it.
ETA this just brought back the memory of me checking with my mum (who isn’t really squeamish, and if she wanted to I was fine either way) and her silently shaking her head
