I just need something that will stop me from ending up on my back because that’s what I find most comfiest, and keep waking up to roll back over to my side
I have my pregnancy pillow on one side and a pillow on the other side so when I roll onto my back I’m at an angle and not actually on my back. I kept having this problem and really worrying about it, but the further along I’ve got I can’t bear being on my back for long at all and it wakes me straight up if I end up on it!I just need something that will stop me from ending up on my back because that’s what I find most comfiest, and keep waking up to roll back over to my side
I’ve got 3 weeks left! Can’t wait, then all being well 3 weeks before baby arrives to mentally prepare (do not feel there yet at all) and wash all the newborn clothes etcIn the first trimester I was so hesitant about mat leave and everything. Now, we're short staffed and I'm doing the work of 4 of my role + my own cases and literallycounting the days
Same here except 2 months left then a months annual leave with mat leave starting on my DD. Brains frazzledI’ve got 3 weeks left! Can’t wait, then all being well 3 weeks before baby arrives to mentally prepare (do not feel there yet at all) and wash all the newborn clothes etc![]()
I must tell my job about my pregnancy, I'm having fierce guilt as I'm only here 6 months. But I took this job because of the benefits to get pregnant. They’ll be annoyed, but there’s nothing they do can about it, so don’t worryI must tell my job about my pregnancy, I'm having fierce guilt as I'm only here 6 months. I’ve seen a couple of midwives now who say if you wake up on your back it’s fine (your body has probably woken you up to get you to move) as long as you don’t fall asleep on your back xI just need something that will stop me from ending up on my back because that’s what I find most comfiest, and keep waking up to roll back over to my side
I had the exact same one and would recommend to anyone that doesn’t want to spend a ton on oneI had this pregnancy pillow which was unwieldy haha but it was great for having something at the front and back to support my bump and stop me ending up flat on my back if I started rolling - I could also tuck it between my legs to make them more comfortable in later stages, and use it to comfortably prop myself up when I was sat up in bed.

The contrast of this is my managers haven't even hired maternity cover for my coworker who went off in JulyMy maternity cover but not really maternity cover (long story but they've employed them on a perm contract) has started today - I still have aaaagggeesss before mat leave so this'll be a fun and very long handover period. I work with a lot of men and I think they just prefer to forget I'm pregnant rather than talk to me about it

Are you usually quite active? I have definitely felt kicks a lot stronger and more frequent the last week (I’m 29 weeks) but I sit quite a bit and notice a lot of movement because of this. If you are at all concerned please phone the midwife/hospital they would rather see you and check everything is okIs it normal to feel the baby move a lot more from 30 weeks? I'm only concerned because I've been quite unwell this week with vomiting and now a chest infection where I'm coughing quite a lot. I'm going to ring the GP tomorrow to ask about something for my acid reflux/vomiting and regarding the chest infection but today I've been feeling the baby move a bit more frequently but now I'm sat still and the baby feels like they are doing back flips in there - Google tells me to be worried about increased movement as the baby could be in distress but I don't want to overreact if it's normal to feel them more around 30+ weeks.
Yeh I'm usually on my feet all day so I don't feel the baby so much then, maybe one or two kicks and then when I sit down in the evening they move a lot more. I've had a few coughing fits today so I wonder if that's what's caused it. While cooking/eating I didn't feel them at all and only now they are starting to move a bit again so maybe all the coughing disturbed themAre you usually quite active?
