Our baby boy will be Arthur. We wanted an English name but also one that wouldn’t be butchered here in the Netherlands. We love the English pronunciation but the Dutch one is also lovely 🥰

Anyone got a final name for their baby yet? We literally just have one name, can’t think of any others 😄 One we’ve decided not to use is Angus. I love it but husband is not Scottish.
I have a girl name that I love but my husband isn't keen. We're going to wait until we've had our 20 week scan before we start coming up with options. Don't have the mental capacity to think about it just yet!

Two big things today - had my first Braxton Hicks contraction and bought the pram! Eeek.
We got ours too! What did you go for?

My partner has just been through my Vinted bargains and pointed out the baby has more up to 1 month sleepsuits than there are days in a month, oops

i think thats fine! You don’t want to be washing stuff 24/7. My first defo wore at least 3 a day

None of mine were ever named until they made their exit. Baby number 1 was hours of discussion as we weren’t expecting to have to pick at that time, baby number 2 had two ‘maybes’ and when she was born the midwife asked if we had a name. When we both said ‘oh we think so…’ and my husband said let’s countdown from 3 and see if we say the same name… He obviously felt a bit brave. Number 3 was born and my husband looked at him before I did and said ohhh you’re definitely ‘babyGG’

We pretty much winged it 🫣😂

I think my first had maybe 2 a day but she wasn’t very sicky and I think we got lucky with poo explosions!
Either way - less washing but tbh if this one could use up to 5 a day, might buy some more 🤣🤣

Did anybody else eat maccas fries with sweet and sour sauce? oh man - such a great craving lolol

Everyone said I bought way too many clothes for my first, think I had around 30 newborn/up to one month sleepsuits. Baby used them all in rotation as she fit in them until she was over 2 months old. Couldn’t be bothered to do a wash every other day so it was great having loads!

I’m only 14 weeks but I really need to start thinking about what pram I want. Baby #1 will only be 18 months old when this one arrives so I’ll need a double. Don’t like the look of tandems so I want a side by side. The only side by side I like is the Bugaboo Donkey Duo and it is very pricey 😅🥺

It’s really hard to judge how many baby gros you’ll need, my first didn’t wear any of the newborn stuff as she was so big 🤣🤣 you can always send someone to a supermarket for a pack if you need more would be my advice.

There is an outlet section on the bugaboo website-sometimes they stock the donkey (with about £500 off it). The colours can be hit and Miss though!

Right can anyone help me with what to look for in a pram/car seat? Literally have no idea, never even touched a pram 😅

There’s a Facebook pages called Barbara’s bugaboos that has a good reputation. I have not used her. They’re refurbed prams - not just bugaboo - that she sells for decent prices. Might be worth a look. She has a physical shop in Wigan as well.

It depends what you’re looking for, what size car you have, what space you have to store it. Definitely go to a pram shop to have a look at models, then have a look online for a better price.
We like going to national trusts, walking in Dales villages and generally getting a bit muddy, so we’ve bought an all terrain Ocarro, which has big wheels, but is heavy. My friends live in London and have smaller, city friendly travel systems.
