We’re 100% on Holly for a girl (I want H names and December baby) but only have Harrison/Harry for a boy so far, boys names are so flippin hard!!
Yesssss! So glad we’ve got some Christmas names happening! I love the name Holly.

We're 100% settled on George for a girl. Have been since we got engaged three years ago. Glad she's a girl though as we could not agree on a single boys name! He would barely input as from day 1 he was 100% sure we were having a little girl. And annoyingly he was correct so we'll never hear the end of that one 😂

Thanks those who have replied re Mat B1 form. Think I’ll try and call my midwife tomorrow and get it earlier than 25 weeks just to have the HR stuff off my mind.
name wise we were discussing both gendered names but now we know the focus is on girls. Have a few that we really like but nothing set in stone. Plus my sister is due before me and she hasn’t found out the sex, her second choice name for a girl is one of our favourites so will have to see what she goes with!

The only boys names I really wanted were Percy, Rowan or Jack - husband hated the lot. Free for the taking as we're one and done and having a little girl 😂

I don’t mind sharing our boys names as we aren’t having one now - I loved Otis, Thomas and Lucas as my top 3 options. Obviously a fan of the “-is/as” suffix !

ooooh i love chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce from maccas right now. Now that I am thinking about, even salt and vinegar chips!
I’m obsessed with macca’s nuggets and curry sauce!!! Left work early last week because I just had to have a happy meal

Did anyone find carbs helped them with morning sickness / nausea in early pregnancy? Been eating so much bread and pasta this last week and no sign of vomiting (apart from the mac and cheese lol) but other than that; sickness free - is that normal?
All I ate in early pregnancy was tuc crackers, toast, plain pasta and chips 😂

We have a girls name picked but can’t agree on boys names at all, I have quite a few I like but don’t love and my partner can’t think of any he likes😂 did the sneak peak blood test too which said boy so pretty sure we are having a boy although not buying any typical boy stuff or telling anyone until it’s confirmed at a scan as I don’t trust myself to have done the test right 🤣

Thanks ladies!! my body just doesn't react well after blood tests, I'm not even bothered by them it's so weird!! I did try and be brave and rush out which was a bit stupid.

I have no problem giving wee samples as I am literally peeing constantly, I am thirsty all the time though!!
Resident fainter over here 🥴 (including during a scan 🙈). Tell them you faint- I faint and/or vom and the midwives wouldn’t touch me, they would always send me to phlebotomy. They literally do it day in day out, I have almost nonexistent veins, they would lie me back and I would be out in 5 mins. Even after giving birth via c section you would think it would cure me but no, they had to send round the dr on the ward because three midwives checked my veins and said “absolutely not” 😅

you could ask to go to phlebotomy, it’s a ballache and at my hospital I sometimes had to wait close to an hour but it was worth it for my peace of mind because I’ve fainted and hit my head before.

We don’t have a girls name or a boys name. With less than 3 weeks to go it’s getting a bit of a concern 😂

Don’t be. My last pregnancy I had a spreadsheet and ended up with 3 girls and 3 boys names. She ended up with a name that wasn’t even on my extended list. She looked nothing like the names we spent hours deciding on (all were very lady like and she came out with a smirk on her face!). So this time I’m getting the name book out when they arrive

I heard a parent recently and his little girl was called Rowan which I loved. So now it's on our maybe list for a boy or girl.

When I was younger I loved Darcy for a girl and Byron for a boy.

Now our pick is Grace and Alexander instead.

Also liking Isabella and Lila. For a boy possible back up is Aureliano.

This is why I’ve told people the names we like because I’ve been saying do not take it because I’ve bagsied them!!! 😆

We are up the wall with names, we know we’re having a girl and we already have a daughter whose name I had loved for years, although it only came to me about 2 weeks before she was born. So I’m hoping for a flash of inspiration either just before birth or after 🤞 We’ve got a very long short list and I’m not sure I love any of them 😭

Yep we’ve got ours 99% picked…Clementine. We have a Florence already.

Back ups in case she comes out not looking like a Clemmie are Margot (which I love but DH’s family
Are broad Yorkshire and it sounds dire in their accent), Ivy and Imogen.

We have one boy name which was a worry but is now fine because we’ve got our two girls and I only want one more.

Not heard Clementine as a name before, gorgeous! Imogen is on our (long) short list.
