Oh love sending you a big hug. It's a huge loss and it stays with you always. I lost our pregnancy this time last year and I found the due date very hard too. I'm so excited about this little baby but struggled to feel connected to it for months 'just in case'. Hope you have a lovely day in the woods tomorrow
Tomorrow is the due date for the baby I miscarried at 9 weeks. All week I've been an emotional mess and really found my mental health struggling. While I'm so so so unbelievably grateful to be pregnant again and I understand implicitly how lucky I am, I couldn't stop thinking about 'what could have been' or how I felt like my body let my first baby down. I eventually opened up to my husband and my Dad and they both have stepped in immediately and have taken practical steps in ways to alleviate stress and pressure on me.
( Basically long story short, I completely underestimated how opening up to certain people can help, it's important to reach out even when you feel like you can't/shouldn't)
Tomorrow I've asked my husband to go for a walk in the woods with me because being outdoors and active just calms me. After the walk we are planning to go and buy the first few bits for this baby, I was putting it off out of fear and anxiety but I think it might be a nice way to put a slightly better twist on tomorrow and at almost 27 weeks I should probably at least buy a babygro to start with because there's so much to buy.
Sorry for the length of this ladies, I think it's me ranting trying to process how I feel.
Sorry I've tried twice to put a spoiler on this, if anyone finds this triggering I'll delete it straight away!
I weed myself while throwing up at work a few weeks ago I was absolutely mortified. Felt violated by my own bodyI threw up down myself while I was on the toilet the other week if it makes anyone feel any better. I also remember crying at a tik tok of how much someone loved their cat in my first trimester, and an episode of Star Trek, I was in bits for hours.
Also I can't remember who it was but someone on this thread shared that they wee'd themselves a bit when throwing up and it happened to me the day after I read it and I was so grateful to them for sharing and to know it wasn't just me!
Yep that was me!!Also I can't remember who it was but someone on this thread shared that they wee'd themselves a bit when throwing up and it happened to me the day after I read it and I was so grateful to them for sharing and to know it wasn't just me!
Sorry but this made me laugh!! Mine was exactly the same last week but orange, I thought it was a good idea to eat a whole pizzaTo add to the sick stories, I projectile vomited Ribena which a) looked like a bloodbath and b) got on the walls. I did not realise it went all over the walls until about a week later as it’s a similar colour, and literally went everywherebehind me, to the sides, behind the toilet??? It was like someone had murdered a load of blackberries.
Yes! Same. Very hard to think about anything else. I now have a nap every day where I was usually getting away with it. Gives me anxiety going to bed knowing il be up half the night but I guess it’s setting us up for the very near future!Anyone else seriously struggling to sleep as their due date gets closer. I just can’t switch off![]()
My last pregnancy I was sooo craving a kfc! Half way there I puked all over the dog, myself, down the car doors. The dog just sat there like wtf! Incredibly I still fancied the kfc and cried all the way round the drive thru and at the collection window…. With a dog covered in puke!I threw up down myself while I was on the toilet the other week if it makes anyone feel any better. I also remember crying at a tik tok of how much someone loved their cat in my first trimester, and an episode of Star Trek, I was in bits for hours.

I started induction the day before the clocks changed. Started getting back contractions at about 12, couldn’t sleep through them. I was devastated when I saw the clock change as I was on my own on the antenatal ward. Got worse at about 4am when another couple came in and they started watching match of the day on their phoneWell thanks to the clock change, I've seen 1am twice tonightI woke up initially about an hour ago thinking I'd slept for hours...nope, only about 2hrs! And now I've just woken up again and I'm wide awake this time. I think its going to be one of those nights
From my suggestion on the last thread..Nearly time for a new thread, any title suggestions ladies?
