Either that or baby could be lying at your backGot a lot of lower back ache this evening. Anybody else get this? Is it just everything moving/growing/making room?
Yes I had paper notes with my first and have found the app a lot easier this time, I like that it tells you about babies development week by week tooYep I was told I won’t have any paper notes and all my notes are on Maternity Notes app. Appointments and test results go on there and lots of info about everything. Quite good isn’t it?
Thank you so much xxxSo so sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of love xxx
I always find the Aldi dupes in whatever they do to be really good value for money so had to be worth a go for £73I saw this on special at aldi too it is kind of like the snooze pod isn’t it I nearly bought it because it was over half the price of snuz pod but I thought it was a bad idea buying it yet but it looks identical xx
Ah yes see I work in a library and so there’s lots of women so they’re a bit more aware. Do you have an HR department you can contact about it maybe? It’s definitely something that needs to be done. An extra covid one should be done because as you’re pregnant you become an employee with a condition making you higher risk to covid.I just think they are totally clueless, doesn't help I'm the first woman in 30 years to be pregnant on production side of the businessto be fair my colleagues have been great with me and doing things I'm not comfortable doing but it was from a legal standing
useless honestly. (And this is one of Scotlands leading brands in the industry...you'd think they would be a bit more clued up)
How have you found nct during this pregnancy? Did you meet anyone face to face or over zoom? I havent decided if i will go ahead with nct or not yet.Gahhh is it bad that I’m already getting impatient at 37+5 cos there are now 2 babies born in my NCT grouppretty good chances I’ll be last as well as the two ladies due after me may be having CS/induction. So irrational and selfish but really want the baby to be here now!
Pretty sure even if they do do it, pregnancy gives dodgy resultsThank you! Must remember to not only read the top option on Google!
You count from your last period, so yours will have been around end of November/ beginning December if you are 11 weeksI’m not a 28 day cycle I am 40 average so I don’t really get this xx
I have been feeling very sick and nauseous and it still hasn’t passed I am 14 weeks on Friday. I am due on September 4th I don’t feel constantly sick like I did from weeks 7 - 12 but finding foods I want to eat or just eating in generally is hard turns my tummyIm 10+3 - due end of septhow about you?
I dont know why im feeling boy. I havent been sick and for some reason thats made me think boy.. Haha
Yeah you can, have to use within 24h of defrosting but wards should have the ability to store it. I don’t trust the wards not the just chuck it or something as I know how dysfunctional the NHS can be and I’d be gutted if it got spoiled/thrown away so I’m going to leave mine at home and if required get husband to bring it in. Hoping to not be in too long and just be able to use it at homeThat's great! Silly question perhaps but do you just store it in the freezer in the syringe and then take it with you to hospital when you give birth? And then feed baby directly from the syringe when needed? (after letting it defrost obv).
To all those talking about PGP, I'm 21 weeks and not sure if what I'm feeling is PGP. My general pelvic/abdomen/hip area feels like I've been doing intense core workouts (I haven't) combined with the sensation of someone pressing on a permanently full bladder. Also my legs are quite sore too. It's hard to turn over and get out of bed but once I start moving eg. go for a walk I feel OK apart from a heavy sensation in my pelvis which I assume is normal now. Does this sound like PGP? I'm a bit concerned about the bladder feeling so will give a urine sample to my GP tomorrow in case it's a UTI.
I don't think I've ever been told it at a scan.I had a scan on Friday but didn’t ask about the head being engaged (and as per usual nobody told me).
Worth asking - easy for them to dip your urine in antenatal clinic when you go for your scan xMorning all, feeling very sick this morning after not feeling sick yesterday so hoping that’s a good sign.
I’m wondering if I maybe have a kidney infection? I’m going to ask today. I used to be prone to them and I’m wondering if dehydration may have caused one and is causing this horrible lower back ache.
Is it true that labour is longer and contractions worse when you are induced? A woman I work with told me this the other day but Iv never heard anyone say that before. I was induced with my first and labour was 15 hours and the pain was pretty bad but didn’t need forceps or anything in the end, I just thought this was a normal labour but Mabye if I’d went naturally it wouldn’t have been so painful ?I'm on number 3.
First baby was born at 40+2 and Labour was 12 hours.
Second baby I was induced at 40+6 and Labour was around 22 hours.
So don't know if it was because I was induced on the second time or that's just how it would've been anyway
