Hey everyone, can I ask if anyone experienced cramping in the very early days? I know it's normal but I just want to hear real experiences rather than internet reading! I'm actively avoiding Google!
I had my positive test on Saturday and it was pretty strong. From my calculations and opk tests, my period would likely be due tomorrow. So it's still very early but the fact I have cramps coinciding with my period due day is freaking me out a tad

They would tell me at midwife appointments as well.

Honestly I really feel for you it’s killing me I thought I had walked into something or bruised myself however I really suffer with my hips and probably already have arthritis Iva head physio as well for it maybe that is contributing factor plus the baby I feel like John Wayne
xxThis is so annoying I cannot find anything for either hospital as I have to go to two one for scans and one where I will give birth so irritating x

I'm 9+6 today, already seen baby once to date the pregnancy.
I hope this isn't triggering for anyone but I have a really big fear with covid at the mo and going into hospital. I was so anxious at my scan.
I've had the letter for our 12 week scan and it says to turn up 30 minutes before the appointment and it's making me freak because I just don't want to be sitting around in a covid hotspot for that long
Is this a thing everywhere? Its not entirely clear to me why I have to turn up that early.
Never heard of that even in normal circumstances.
We're not even allowed into the unit to book in here until 5 minutes before your appointment.
Unless your hospital has introduced lateral flow tests? In which case, it would make sense

Ah cool. I think i might try and check out the website recommended earlier and see if i can start using some of my cleansers, oils, eye creams and serums.

23 weeks and just wondered if anyone else’s bump gets really big at night?!! It feels so bloated around 10pm and is uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do to relieve it?

How do people feel with kids about kids returning to school and potentially bringing it home? I have a 6 year old going back next week and I'm torn....she needs it but I'm only 10 weeks....

Definitely would have had that struggle earlier in pregnancy. Is there anything else you can stomach drinking instead? I basically live on fizzy drinks as that’s all I can take. I can drink water with meals for some reason, so I try and guzzle as much then as possible.

If anyone's had to get referred for a growth scan, how soon is the appointment? I had my 31w appointment today and being referred for a scan, midwife said she'd text me the details but not heard anything yet and my appointment was first thing this morning. Just worried in case it's super last minute and I need to go in the morning or something

Anyone had to get a glucose test for diabetes? I’ve to go for one on Monday. Think it’s a wee bit late to be doing one of those seeing as I’m nearly 36 weeks I’ve no other symptoms of diabetes apart from the fact they think my baby is growing quicker than normal. I know their just taking precautions though. Was told 5 weeks ago she was weighing just over 4lbs and was told today she’s just over 7lbs I’ve to go back for another scan in 2 weeks and she said if she’s still measuring big they’ll probably talk about an early induction

Oh Kitt I'm so sorry, but hopefully it's just another chance to see the bubbaHey all, been having on off brown bleeding last few days but been feeling, or been trying to feel, okay about it as I had it last week then baby was fine on scan. Just went to the toilet and had red blood instead of brown. It’s knocked me again. EPU told me to call if brown turned to red and so I did and they’re going to try to get me a scan tomorrow.
Feel so stupid with needing these constant scans. This is so stressful
will be thinking of you xI’m 9+4 weeks today and I can’t shift these awful headaches. I don’t remember them being so bad with my first pregnancy. I’m drinking plenty sleeping as much as I can but it’s like I’ve been smacked over the head. I normally have migraines but these are different, like a tension headache. I’m taking paracetamol but it’s not touching it so any tips welcome

Sensitive subject but for those who have had miscarriages, is the pain a similar type of pain to labour? Not in intensity/severity but I mean in terms of the type or quality of pain? People talk about early labour pain as being like period pains but I haven’t had painful periods for 10-15 years and until last year hadn’t had a period for 7 years due to the coil so I can barely remember what period pains feel like. Had a 7w miscarriage last year and remember the pain from that so wondering if there is any similarity there
