My husband makes resin and silicone figures it’s ridiculous! I often say if he thought about the housework not being told (in a jokey way) then he’d not have time for hobbies! I get approx an hour to sit down on a night after the kiddos in bed and I’ve worked out.
Where do men get this extra time from?! I want in on it. Is it bernards watch?

Jeez they’d be ringing non stop about my kids 🤣 it’s normal for kids to want to chill out alone every so often. And great that he can regulate himself so well. It’s not strange at all!
I’ve had issues with them for the past 2 years and I swear they just pick something different each week. When he got home and I asked him about the “relax time”, he said he had a tummy ache 🥺

Here’s something to make you laugh; they are endlessly writing reports about him. Tinypotato refused his tea. Tinypotato refused to sit down on the rug. Tinypotato took a pen off another potato. Blah blah. Husband and I have bought them a pack of black pens and a clipboard called “The TinyPotato report board” as they must have used so much black ink since he started 🤣🤣🤣

EXACTLY!!!??? My husband has bought me Lego and complained that I haven’t made it. Well mate since cleaning the house top to bottom, ironing, cooking, crying… I don’t have time!

TinyPotato sounds like he is far too good for them, what nonsense they are picking out 🙄 maybe he took the pen off another potato so he could start logging some thoughts of his own about the staff 🤣

As a recruiter: don't stress out about it, be yourself, but do some research on the job and company (why it interests you/wy you feel the company might be a good match for you). If you have a brain fart during the interview, no worries, it happens, especially with pregnancy brain.
I interviewed someone a while ago who was due a month later, but she was just relaxed, herself and landed the job! She'll start after her maternity leave 😊
Good luck!

Off to bed now and busy day at work tomorrow. Will be thinking of you all! Smallpotato, Neo and the other person whose username escapes me (my apologies) and everyone else who needs it ❤
You've got this! And we all have your backs 💪

I hope I’m not going to sound strange but when I was told I had GD before the test I ate a GD diet
Low sugar low carb
High fat high protein
and felt fine going to back to work after 4 months off and being back on my feet at 24-28 weeks, maybe placebo but felt my sugar levels were always level, no crashes x

edit to say I in fact did NOT have GD 🙄

Guys I’ve been putting it off for weeks.
What steriliser did you get? I don’t even know if I need one if I plan to BF but it’s time I at least made a list of recommendations
I am planning to BF so didn't buy a steriliser but have prepped with a few Mam bottles as a 'just in case'. They are apparently self sterilising in a microwave so decided to get those instead of spending lots on something I might not use. I'm a first time Mum though so basically making it up as I go along haha

Husband plays Destiny, he’s never been a COD fan admittedly! But yes, sweets all over the living room too. Husband and I are both a little bit anti social; I’m not good at socialising and just enjoy my own company but my husband is the most confident person ever but prefers to just sulk at home with me 🤣

Just editing this; nursery today rang me saying that they were worried that my little boy said he wanted to be alone today and he sat in reading corner. I explained that we have taught him this, if he feels overwhelmed or he’s had enough of people he can be alone. I do it, husband does it etc, nursery said it was strange. Ffs bore off
I feel nurseries have such high expectations of children at the moment!! My sons is the same, went through a real patch of constant negativity about him and how he had done XYZ when actually they were very petty things that a typical 3 year old would do. My son is starting school nursery in September and he is soooo ready for it! I think people forget how much children have also been affected by this pandemic! X

Thanks for all the cleft support lasses. My mum's been round for a 'buck yourself up, it's not the end of the world chat' which is not what I needed today. She's a specialist nurse dealing with people in some pretty dreadful situations, so she never has any sympathy with things that aren't as bad. And already told my OH that I don't want to talk about it with the MIL. She has a small life, so would dredge it up and try and chat about it every time we spoke as the main topic if I let her. Just going to ignore it until my next appointment to confirm it or not, and I have some actual facts to work with.

And, I am definitely in the discharge crew, what a shock that was. God bless the free ones they hand out in the Emma's Diary packs, I did wonder why they gave out them and not big maternity pads, but now I know.

Mums! After a bleed scare my mum told me to get back to work (teach in front of 30 little ones as soon as I left the hospital) I did go back but the ‘come on get on with it’ isn’t what you need at times 💛

my mum is a pain in my arse 75% of the time, but she knows when I’m upset and worried, it’s bad and to STFU!

Is it the front of it and feels almost bruised? I’ve had that the past couple of weeks, I don’t know if it’s slight spd?! My hips are fine though! 🤷🏻‍♀️

It feels like its inside it i don't know if its because I've been cramping so much today or not
My spd did start in my crotch though so it may be what you're having, mine went from my crotch down my thighs to begin with

If anyone’s looking to buy a Moses basket, Claire De Lune are doing 25% off at the moment. I just got the basket and stand for £50 instead of £75

When I told my midwife that mine had tripled in size she laughed and said sounds like baby is pressing on my vagina wall.
maybe it could be to do with some pressure, I know my baby is head down (not engaged) and charts so she has a large head so made sense to me 😆
