Makes you wonder what else poor Florence could get up to when she's not being watched, if she had time to get out the make up bag, open it, get the lid off the cream and put it on herself and the bed how long was she left to her own devices?

Jess giving Neil the £5 aftershave set because she's had it in the attic for five years just shows she buys for the sake of it, if it's a "barg" she buys it regardless of if she thinks she can use it or not and moaning about not doing festive things was just ridiculous, she could bake festive things with the kids at home or do some cheap xmas crafts, she just can't be arsed, the difference in her voice and demeanour from the earlier vlogs to now is huge, she's always arsey and sounds like she's one step from exploding with rage, I really feel for poor Florence.

Has anyone noticed how she just repeats back the words Florence says to her in the car? And then just shuts her down like she’s irritated by her trying to talk. Instead of engaging with her it’s like she wants Florence to just shut up!… she talks very negatively about the girls especially Florence. I’m wondering if she regrets having a second child. Maybe she should of just stuck with animals as she seems way more loving to her cat and the guineas!

She made it sound like she's hardly bought Neil anything but he's got LOADS. I'm sure she never used to buy him this much tat. It's all been said but instead of getting Neil things like chewing gum, a nail brush, shampoo, hay-fever tablets etc she could have just got him the New Balance leggings he wanted rather than the cheaper ones. She couldn't get him the usual kids thermals from Lidl because they didn't do the ski event and she's not sure why..... probably because no one is going skiing Jess.

Instead of stockpiling generic presents when they're in a sale it makes more sense to spend the budget on something you know someone will love in the current year, it would probably even be cheaper! So rather than someone being gifted some gone-off body spray and a notebook bought in Next 2015 sale, just buy them something bought with them in mind.

They 'don't really do' gifts from the children.... that could have been a festive thing to. Choosing a present for parents is always a great way to teach kids about giving. Or just making a Christmas card for Neil. Other festive things that don't cost much; making paper chains, doing Christmas colouring in, having a walk to see the Christmas lights

Clearly Jess isn't OK and I do feel for her because the last couple of years have been hard for us all and it comes out in different ways. I just hope she books herself an appointment soon.

She said she’s been struggling with her MH for about 6 yrs! So since P was born, maybe she has untreated PND and that’s affected her relationship with the children she doesn’t seem to bond with them just goes through the motions.

Even those stocking fillers are not suitable for a child her age, glowsticks for a 1 yr old .I remember there was some kind of warning about those exploding or the fluid leaking what if she bit into them :rolleyes:and those small fiddly parts on the other toys are such a choking hazard there's age restrictions for a reason .

I cannot believe she would need to buy Neil his thermals from the children range!! Is he that teeny tiny?

I really feel sorry for little Florence. She is not very nice to the poor child at all but obviously sees no wrong in it plastering it over the internet

This is not a new thing she has been buying crap for stocking fillers for years. I remember when P was 2 or 3 watching thinking 🤔 when she put some loaf bread in P's stocking 🤣🤣 also the way she speaks to the children isn't new either P has been spoken like that all her life. I remember her having a go a P when she politely asked for a snack and she said stuff like this pisses her off!!

All I could think was when she was talking about how timid and shy P was is I wonder why. Stressed and worried about putting a foot wrong and getting worked up which is why she has a tantrum about putting her tights on.

I liked watching Jess a while back (pre-surgery). Now it feels like every youtube video is based around how cheap she can get things, almost justifying her expenditures because of her just giving page.

Im sure the kids would like one good present rather then lots of cheap presents.

It’s just endless tat and consumerism, and I feel like she’s getting worse each year! Huge stockings for each other, a present everyday in December, big Christmas Eve box, and a massive pile of cheap presents under the tree 😬

Me and my partner do Christmas presents to each other but we don’t buy things throughout the year but we get things each other wants but don’t really want to buy ourselves like my partner bought me an oodie because I really wanted one but they’re expensive and I just couldn’t justify getting one so he waited until it was nearer Christmas to get me one as my Christmas present and I got him trainers as that’s what he needed and asked for we would rather do one bigger gift than loads of tat if that makes sense - my sons got the very few things he asked for plus colouring stuff playdoh kinetic sand etc we don’t actually do stockings I don’t see the point the stuff I’d put in them I’d just buy them anyway when needed so we just do presents and that works for us - I think Jess struggles with 2 the idea of wanting 2 kids and the reality of 2 kids are completely different but I think she’s quick snappy with them especially F and she makes everything seem like such a hassle like the food shop I’ll admit I hate the food shop but I got all my non fresh stuff in for Christmas yesterday and my arms are killing me but it means I’ll only need to get fresh stuff next week

I think she runs about buying small unnecessary things like Florence needs shampoo for her stocking (that she doesn’t need) and Neil needs some energy tablets or razors or whatever and convinces herself thats she’s so busy with all that rushing around, because the Guinea pigs need stuff for their stocking etc. None of that is necessary or equates to being busy but she’s convinced she’s a busy working mum.

I couldn't believe how much she was going on about Florence opening her make up bag and asking why she'd done it - I was thinking "because she's not even 2 yet and she's been away unattended for ages!"

Again talking to Flo through gritted teeth,it was obvious the child was tired and needed a nappy change ( it was nearly trailing the ground) she also sounded unwell with a cough, maybe she should’ve sorted Flo out and then filmed she makes things hard for herself because she can’t be bothered with priorities like making sure the children are fed and settled before turning the camera on.

Or done something with Florence and filmed when she was asleep? I feel like at that age they need structured activities or to do something to get rid of all that energy. I bet Florence would love messy play or role play or something more than just walking around. She seems really clever and she seems bored.

She seems to just put her in front of the telly , doesn't do anything constructive with her . I notice Ellie does a lot with her kids and it's payed off Evie is a very fluent reader for her age .

Evie must be in reception if P is in Year 1.
Florence isnt too young to start educational activities like flash cards for speech. Maybe Jess does do those things but throughout Vlogmas we haven’t seen anything based around entertaining a toddler. If she was in nursery she would be socialising (practicing taking turns, sharing etc) with children her own age and doing multiple activities a day based around
keeping her stimulated, learning and having fun. The main difference between a baby and a toddler is they need more direction and interaction. To a certain extent you can’t do much with a baby but you can with a toddler and they will just complain if they’re bored and they do have very short attention spans so will need to be redirected.

Flo seems to be able to sit in front of the telly for long enough I don't think a simple activity would be beyond her ,she's got pretty good speech and understanding for her age I think Jess hit it on the head when she said P is so easy because she spends hours alone playing in her room Flo can't do that.

Florence definitely needs more attention and stimulation. When mine were that age, I caught up with things while they napped, or were fed, clean nappies and happy to play for a bit in the room I was in.
