You would think after the savilles, Harris etc cases that ITV would not be encouraging a relationship with a 15 year old or potentially younger. Which makes you wonder. What is really going on at the top

Could it be because there’s chance of mounting a legal case, social media platforms are suppressing news? I know for certain that has been done on social media before. Also could be why comments are being heavily vetted.

God, I really hope so. All of this silence from MM and the situation with him is killing me. While I think it can be a source of entertainment (or rather Tattle reacting to it) to see PS being dragged for being a rude and false arse, I don't know that the MM story is going anywhere anymore, and it's worrying me. The longer the silence stretches on, the more people are going to fall into their vicious victim blaming ways. It's already well underway.

I think Kerry is more crucial in this instance, as she was clearly turned over very publicly by TM and Schofield.

OK, to play devil's advocate. Do we think Schofield has now received sufficient punishment? His career is ruined for the foreseeable future. His reputation has hit the floor. He's off a show he dominated and controlled for decades. And what he did was legal, even if morally dubious. ITV has to account for its hypocrisy and a lack of duty of care to MM, but that in a sense is not Schofield's problem.

Unless we can get proof that he actively groomed MM or, worse, had relations with him underage, then it seems like Schofield's punishment is enough, more or less.

What do we all think in terms of the likelihood of grooming? Do we have sufficient evidence?

I would dread for us to have bloodlust in which we want Schofield punished beyond what is reasonable to the facts.

I would hate to be promoting the frankly ludicrous notion that we are yet to be privy to anything like the facts, tbh.
