Narcs like philth have a good way of convincing everyone around them that they are the good guy, it is always down to someone else that made something happen ie philth would have the young runner and everyone convinced that he tried with all his might to fend away this boy. Even the boy would believe it, and the rest of the team. It is evilness. I have experienced it first hand, not by him obvs. If you haven't been in that situation you might not quite understand.
