I also have first hand experience. Heavy my entire life and was constantly yo yo dieting. This damn pandemic put me over the top. I stressed ate, worked from home, hardly went anywhere and didn't exercise. I wasn't a drinker or smoker but took solace in eating whatever I wanted to deal with my issues. My yearly doctor visits were always normal as far as blood sugar goes. I only missed my yearly doctor visit in 2020 because of the pandemic but finally went in June and BAM! type 2 diabetes with fasting blood sugar of over 300! My life has dramatically changed now adjusting to a new lifestyle of eating, testing my blood and taking medication. I watch Nate's videos of him gorging himself on fats and sugar and liquor and I want to scream at him to stop killing himself for views. I'm disgusted. For his sake I hope he stops his self destructive behavior asap before it's too late. He looks worse and worse with every passing vlog and I fear it's not a matter of if, but when he gets hit with a major health crisis.

I wonder if there would somehow be a way to do some kind of an intervention without it coming off like we're shaming him.

I think he reads here and I hope he can see that most of the commenters are genuinely worried about his health. I like Nate, I like watching his videos. I hope he learns that he can have fun and have an occasional treat without overdoing it and people will still watch. We don’t want to see him vlogging from the hospital!
I actually tolerate Nate for all his annoying quirks, but the disregard for his own health is awful. It isn't sustainable.
1 of 3 things needs to happen..
1. He has a serious health scare which is the wake up call he needs, where there is change
2. His real friends sit him down and tell him to change his ways. That doesn't mean stop vlogging. Just, be healthy.
3. Someone tears into him in person, belittling him and makes him feel like utter tit. This is obviously not the best wake up though.
Either way, his vlogging community is a bubble and in my eyes every comment praising his eating antics makes them almost abusers.

Usually whatever you say there's people that will listen and do the exact opposite. He has 1 person which is Veronica who is the perfect role model so it's not like he's all alone in this. Even if Jackie ever said something doesn't mean he'll do it. It's like he's rushing eating and drinking everyday like a tourist when he lives in Orlando.
I kindi like the guy, felt he was one of the few that seemed a bit more genuine an he's certainly happy to have other vloggers in the videos unlike some others but my god that eating, I'll admit am not a fan of those black an white shots he does, but still this isn't a good lifestyle, unfortunately it is somthing he's going need to realise on his own, even people saying to him or tearing into him it never works, my brothers partner is heavy an nothing anyone said or did, nice or not worked, it had to be herself that flicked that switch an made her realise that it needed to stop an unfortunately it's going to be the same with him, I honestly hope it's sooner rather than later, not being American I know the food is a bit heavier an more fatty that here, we seem to have more restrictions to the point places arnt allowed any salt or over a certain amount of sugar in food now, so when I get to America the rare times I do I can feel the difference an I do prefer being able to eat food that's loaded with crap an getting a portion size that's like the size of 3 adult meals put together here lol but that's a two week limit ever few years so it doesn't bother me, to know he's living that every single day like please dude flip that switch that tells you you gotta do somthing, even just limit the meals out to 2 or 3 days a week will be fine
I don't know if this will make me sound like a huge asshole, but I find him pitiable. I should probably be avoiding the psychoanalysis, but I just get the impression that never really had any friends or a lot of affirmation for a lot of his life. And picking up a following on YouTube is his one real accomplishment, and has connected him to a lot of fweinds. So it's always more More MORE to keep chasing the dragon. And that sounds incredibly lonely, and I feel bad for him.
Nate, if you are reading this: You need to see a doctor, and I'm saying that as a doctor. The sweaty and the constant flushing are a sign that something is wrong. Will they give you a lecture about your weight and your drinking? Probably, and I know that it can be hurtful. But you're setting yourself up for a lot of problems down the road, especially with diabetes as people have said, and probably also with your liver.
Also, stop feeding Gracie so many snacks unless you're reducing her regular food intake. That's not any better for her than it is for you.

Thank You! I am tired hearing people throwing the term Genuine into thin air for people like that and those who are they don't say the word.
He is lonely and he has no friends that's real life for many. If you call your true friends vloggers that's pathetic. Friends don't hide and do each other's birthdays separate. Not saying you can't do your birthday alone if you want to or wish to. The more you admit your alone, the more people might want to be your friend. Yeah perhaps you become a vlogger to make something out of yourself, however you need to learn to live content whether you have or you don't. Be yourself, be your real self, stop being a character, you want make everything about yourself, focused 100 percent of the time on you then being fake won't make people like you. If you were truly sincerely genuine, you'd be honest with your fan base hundred percent of the time and not lying. You'd respect your audience and get rid of the black and white showing off how you enjoy things others can literally not nor would they do what you do. If food feels like porn to you then keep it to yourself. Not everyone's a friend and neither are you to all.

Does he do home vlogs or really anything that indicates that he has interests beyond going to Disney parks and eating enough for a family of four? I mean, I know he did some thrift store vlogs, but I assume that was at least in part to search out Disney merchandise.

Sooo im behind but I wanted to say, we went to Steakhouse 71 yesterday…we are a family of 3 and my husband and I split their drink for 2…we spent $80 (excluding tip) on our meal. So that means that Paging Mr MeatSweats spent $40+ more than we did to just feed himself.

Why would he fake living with the dog? V clearly moved out of state so there is no way the apartment shown is hers. Is it possible he moved and the internet doesn't have his new address? Sure it is and good for him if that is the case.
he actually just made a video saying that his YouTube life is literally the only thing that he has. He really does need some sort of professional help.

That scene was very bizarre it's the first time he's spoke about what Gracie is to him. Normally we all know...no need to make a statement. Something went up.

My gut since the beginning when he bought Disney Home stuff from Disney Spring's. He's never cared into home stuff when visiting Disney Spring's prior. If your going to say your moving it be more normal you said before not when you vlog the store after. Like another couple vlogger from Paris who said we are going to be moving so if you don't see a new vlog for the next couple of days that's why.
The thing that threw us off about it was the tv stand/ dresser was something that V wanted to have when she lived with him but he said no. So for now to have it if it's his house makes no sense unless he wants to appeal to her back.
Also He's always sitting on the bar stool stuck in the same place.
He calls Gracie but doesn't go get her.
The recent where he takes the food away to move to another carpet, if it was your's why would you suddenly backtrack and move to another carpet. You know your stuff.
Also the gap in vlogs not telling us beforehand he was moving to then have vlog buying disney merchandise was interesting.
