I seriously don’t know what my neighbours problem is with me using my garden, I’ve posted about her a couple of times now.
my husband left his sandals in the garden and popped out to get them - he had barely opened our back door and all we heard is ffs and her get up and slam her door.
she has serious issues, from her knocking last year and asking me to turn off my outdoor light as she wanted to sleep (with her blinds and curtains open

) I’ve still not used my garden once it’s dark, I really just want to try and enjoy my garden this year but it makes me so uncomfortable.
My neighbour is an absolute bellend! When asked to lower the noise she referred to it as her lifestyle and wouldn’t be told what to do!
I near amputated my own tongue biting it so hard not to say
Yes a lifestyle that involves drunken idiots with no social awareness to congregate, talk and play music too loud, then start what sounds like arguments with each other all whilst a dog barks!
It’s infuriating when im working from home and cant even have a window open.
Days off, evenings and weekends you are made to feel like you are the imposter. As though you are eavesdropping on them or being nosey. When in fact it’s because they are so loud that you are hearing everything.
I can’t relax with loud music so I’m not going to put on something to drown them out.
Have told my OH this year is the year I’m no longer tolerating it! Not by complaining or getting in a fight with her, but simply by making our presence felt!
I do things like putting on white noise on high volume by the boundary fence!
Have unnecessary brushing or hammering episodes outside.
Play acting loud phone conversations inside the house with window open . Talking about spreadsheet and training courses and meetings
Ones outside to friends family and work colleagues banks and travel agents
All to build up that picture that even when I’m home alone and oh so quiet, neighbour you are not the only one that lives here!
I’m making my presence felt in calm understated but hearable ways.
I have a right to use my outdoors after a hard day or week in work, same as this 24/7 never worked in her life layabout!
And as for the lights! Screw her I would put them on when you want. Not breaking any laws!
