I was amazed at the influenzas who buy bots.

Scamone, MFM, Elle herself and all her incarnations, WElle club etc, LFYD, IamKaty Thomas, JustJess.... Really opened my eyes to how fake and desperate they are to maintain their standing. Just makes what they are promoting as deceptive as their fake bot-friends. And when you see those that have bots from porn sites, child abuse images it just destroys their credibility

And if they’re not buying them, cause sometimes they just follow accounts that people are linked to, why aren’t they hitting block when it comes up as a new follower?? They can see every new person who follows them. I’m forever blocking those creepy weird looking accounts and bots or whatever they are.

I don’t have anything against being plant based but I feel like she forgot who made her as successful as she is! I actually have her plant based cookbook and it’s got some really yummy recipes in it but I just add cheese and butter or whatever when I need to also if you go onto her website, she has updated a lot of her original recipes to be plant based and if she can’t then she has removed all photos! As if she can’t bear to be associated with meat products - like come on, I bet she’s happy enough to be paid for her original cookbooks when people buy them! That new husband of hers 100% brainwashed her I reckon, can’t just be coincidence that she changed so dramatically when they got together?!

I definitely agree that he changed her whole persona!

Totally agree! Id have more respect for her royal opposition to meat now if she donated future profits from her meaty books to charity, but I doubt she’ll be doing that.

I think she’s gonna sink her career hooking up with him and changing so much. One or two vegan cookbooks are sweet but most people aren’t going to want to buy vegan books from her forever. And if she combines it with a dip into the bad side of hippie wellness then she’ll alienate most people.

Long time lurker, first time poster!
The thing about Chelsea Winter that really annoys me is how she lumped all NZ farmers into having bad unethical farming practices. She was posting things criticising farming when most of it wasn’t relevant to NZ. I’m no farmer, lived in towns/cities all my life but she made a lot of money from those first cook books (I was a fan - bought them all) and then changed when she met her new husband, turned all self righteous and critical of anything and anyone that weren’t vegan, forgetting that these people supported her, bought her books, contributed to her wealth etc.
And the toddler milk debacle was sooo bad! When she changed I stopped following her, never bought the new plant based books and I don’t use her old ones anymore.
I have no problem with plant based or vegans/vegetarians. I do have a problem with the self righteousness however.

yes, it’s the self-righteousness. And she’s full of it about living ethically because cashews are incredibly unethical and expensive, and she uses bags of them.

I think Nadia Lim’s sustainable farm is much healthier and more balanced, I’ve been drifting to her cookbooks much more these days. She seems really nice, and I liked her TV show. And she doesn’t make any bollocks toddler milk,because she’s an actual dietician.

it’ll be interesting to watch what happens if Chelsea ever breaks up with that guy…

Yes I am a huge fan of Nadia Lim - she has some great recipes, they use easy to find ingredients and her tv show was awesome! She seems to have stayed true to herself and provides recipes that everyone can use regardless of their eating preferences.

Nat trying to get a free trip out of Christian I'm sure she thought she would get a lot more out of them when she offered her body for surrogacy.

I'd expect them to in some ways spoil her. I mean she literally was a part of their gift of life. They're obviously well off. Nat went offline while LFYD were on their 3 month OE and I can't help but think they're connected. Reading between the lines I'd say it's a financial (and everything else) struggle being a solo mum to growing boys. Tbh its the least they could do for her

Bit of stretch, I don’t think sleeping in your clothes will harm you sometimes my kids want to sleep in their clothes and shower and fresh clothes in the morning, they are doing ok

Yea I tend to agree, my son sleeps in his t shirt and underwear most nights - he prefers to shower in the morning and changes then. Not really a big deal
