That’s funny to be fair as so far it has been wee local towns and everybody being called far right racists. If they are legit refugees then fair enough but I doubt it to be honest. They will be put up in a 5 star hotel by 10pm probably.

I’m bleeping dying here that she said she thought she was coming to London. I’m glad Mr Grifty is out as I couldn’t explain my hysterics. This is like years ago before Man City had all the money and a footballer signed for them because he didn’t realise it wasn’t man United.

There’s no such thing as working class anymore Monga. There’s just the working poor.
1. Upper class,
2. Middle class
3. Working poor
4. Those on benefits (although there’s not much between 3 & 4 and a lot on benefits are better off than those working.

Whole thing is f**ked and only getting worse. Throw in asylum seekers and refugees claiming benefits and the whole thing is heading for collapse. It’s unsustainable.

I think part of the issue which doesn’t help in terms of class is that USA politics seems to have come over here so people get wound up about USA cultural issues which haven’t been issues here or if they have they have manifested in different ways. Everything seems fucked to be honest. I want to be positive but it all seems nuts.

The Irish government are looking for properties to house them that’s going to make it impossible for citizens to compete for accommodation and drive rents even higher…There’s 120,000 potential removals to Rwanda, just think about that landing in Dublin at once.

Why is this being allowed to happen? Ireland is too soft. It has a duty to its own citizens, not citizens of other nations. I despair 😞

There’s been a media blackout in reporting for a longtime, people know when these type of incidents happen in their close knit communities so naturally want something done about it.

There’s no excuse for them camping there they’ve already set up suitable outdoor accommodation, with meals, showers, internet and buses to and from the city centre, there must be an alternative motive why they want to remain there.

This is exactly the problems we’re facing ,it seems all the progress we’ve achieved is going down the drain trying to fix the worlds problems ahead of our own, even in Derry where the new mayor is not particularly inclusive to the unionist community it’s going to show.

You’d at least think their committee members would be aware of the changes 😂 is it not polite to inform your actual party members 🤷🏼‍♀️
I think it’s just she doesn’t really understand how things are here and thinks she’ll change things overnight, we know people still keep to their lanes regardless! I wouldn’t walk through the fountain with a Celtic shirt on and vice versa, we’re really not that progressive to others cultures no matter how they portray things to the outside world.
