I have a theory that she's made her move to full-on, unsustainable luxury/BS marketing influencing with Gleam as well. The fact that the only idiots that stupid Sky (the duck is it? a Netflix type of thing?) chose her + Amelia + Fleur for this is very, very telling. Amelia and Fleur were originally pretty far from the Niomi aesthetic but not anymore, and she's probably decided to just go for it.

So to follow up on this. I looked up Smug Skin in their database and did get some results, BUT it turns out only two of their products are certified (the cleanser and the oil). Not the mask, not the moisturizer, not the serum nor the toner. So you can hardly claim that the "brand" itself is COSMOS certified.

Ah well done, I couldn't find them recently when I looked!

It's funny, the way that other influencers on their podcasts and meetups call her this sustainable savior of the planet as if she was doing anything for it other than posing with some lettuce in her pictures. Niomi is a taker, she doesn't really give anything back. The make her sound so precious, almost sacred as if she's some tree of knowledge to follow and protect.

Wow just caught up on last 30 odd pages, Niomi is really reaching new lows isn’t she! From Dreamy Joe to Forky the Facist She should have just been like Tanya Burr and shown glimpses of a hairy arm so that we couldn’t see who she is with/pretending to be with and not known for sure that she’s downgraded. And I don’t mean that in the superficial sense. Amazing gaslighting over the diet issue too, wow. I hope Venetia isn’t friends with her, she seems to genuinely care about veganism, sustainability and social justice so I can’t see what they have in common.

I think this could well be the case. I also think she kept it under wraps that she's no longer plant-based because she wanted to get Sludge Skin established in its first year, knowing a vegan brand founded by someone who wasn't even plant-based wouldn't look so good.
