She was more than happy to gush about Joe's parents being at Prince Harry's wedding... She sure was fine being associated with them then. She comes across as someone who chooses people based on what they can do for her image. She must have been pretty happy having in-laws that were connected to the royals, but probably didn't see any need in nurturing an actual relationship with them, because that would take work and we all know Dimbobs needs all her energy to do yoga and take self-absorbed pics for the gram.Watching back their isolation/lockdown vlogs it’s really apparent how disconnected she seemed from Joe’s family. I understand they were separate from them in a guest house (a bloody amazing guest house at that!) but she talks about his parents in the most awkward way. She refers to them “at the main house” and “Joe’s parents” but almost wincing as she says it. Maybe that’s something to do with the split? Baring in mind she’d stayed there even without Joe when he was away with work so she must have had an actual good relationship with them at some point. She never called them by their names which may have been to protect their privacy but it was always seemingly awkward. I know for a good chunk of lockdown they couldn’t socialise with them due to their quarantine and the general rules but let’s be honest she’s hardly a stickler for the rules. The rush to get back to London and live in the flat cramped with Freddie was odd in itself but maybe she/Joe fell out with his parents? Joe’s dad seemed to really admire her and she shared things he’d done for her etc but we never heard anything about her mother-in-law to be.
I also really really really hope she is packing up and going back to Brighton for this lockdown. The darkness and coldness and the fact it’s so polar opposite to the first lockdown for her makes me really worried for her mental healthI know most people on here don’t agree with how much she is flouting around London (me included) but she’s obviously hurting and confused and for some reason trying to pretend she’s ‘the happiest she’s ever been’ when anyone can see that’s not true. I don’t know what minimum of 4 weeks in the face of that flat/cave will do to her already poor mental health
