I’m sorry for what you’re going through at the moment.

Niomi making these comments is disrespectful. It sounds to me like she was very hurt by whatever happened, perhaps just the shock/gall of Joe breaking up with her or his reason if he said anything.

I can imagine Dimbobs getting the white electric car, slapping Smart Skin ads all over it and lurking all over London trying to drum up sales. Obviously wearing thigh high leather boots, basque top and hair cut artfully with hedge trimmers.Pahhfect.

I reckon that Joe ended it and tbh it was a pretty mundane break up. Hence "mutual respect" nims in her video intro etc
She may be processing the shock, and has found keeping herself busy has helped that.

And tbh, as we only get her take on the situation, her constant repetition of 'self love', following tfe 'right path', 'putting herself 1st' blah blah readers can only come to the conclusion that 4 yrs with Joe surpressed all that freedom. Thing is, we teach people how to treat us. Act like a doormat and chances are you'll be treated like one.

I think it's snide of her to keep emphasising this 'lack'. While with Joe she presented her life as idyllic. If it wasn't she was either totally lacking self awareness , delusional or game playing. Unfair to play the victim now.
NB:These are 100% my own opinions and no smoothie bowls were harmed while writing this.

Probably similar to Amelia's:

Niomi came home one day.
All the windows are open.
Joe looks as pale as a sheet.
The atmosphere is tense.
Niomi: What's the matter, Joey?
Joe: I can't do this.
Niomi: .....
Joe: I love you, but I fucking hate yoga and I want to stuff my face with steak and meatballs. Then a triple cheeseburger.
Niomi: .....but I made you a liddle smoothie bowl..
Meanwhile Freddie on the sofa: Also can you take that spice rack with you on your way out.

All this. Also, when your job is literally doing nothing but the odd meeting and email, it's pretty rich to make being "productive" your thing. We're all grown ups, nobody gets a sticker for getting up and leaving the house.

Although sometimes I do have gin instead of a sticker.

Yeh, I think apart from moving to India (which obviously is a huge deal but she could have continued her "job" there anyway, it is hardly like she gave up her job for him) he made far more sacrifices in terms of diet etc and basically just adapted to her life

I imagine the same scene but with the addition of the spice rack ripped unceremoniously off the wall and thrown out the window

My partner and I are discussing splitting up because our lives are going in different directions, and if I were to be single, I'd never allow that kind of comment to be made about someone I cared for.
Wow, that's a very mature approach to have: big love to you in this tough time

Ahhhhhhhh. Maybe Freddie had removed all the spices and filled the spaces with take away menus. The final (bamboo) straw!!

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned already but Joe finally removed the engagement photo. And seems like a couple other photos too.

All non vegan friendly menus of course. God this reminds me of that grim looking pizza they had just before the break up. I wonder what his celebratory non vegan meal was

University Arms’ response to me.
Well, well. The University Arms Hotel in Cambridge appears to be staffed by sarcastic sycophants. I was planning on going to Cambridge after covid, so I shan’t be staying there! What prats.

I understand this approach from them, clearly they do need to maintain business, but the issue is that she is not following ANY rules, socialising with SO many people, no masks etc etc, had they looked at her social media they should have realised this was irresponsible. I also imagine (as with the car posts) most of her fans seem to be muhc younger, i.e. not in the market for a hotel so it seems pointless on their behalf. I personally would not stay anywhere she was paid to promote on principle

Wow, I hope they get back to me soon (I emailed them.)

I notified them that Niomi broke Tier 2 rules.

Same.

Yep, let us know. Just edited my post above to add my message to them. I clearly said she has been violating the rules. Like, I'm sure they were being careful but the point is she hasn't been! Obviously they are going to try to defend themselves but rather than claiming everything was all within the rules I would rather they just took in the feedback and said "We hear you. We will not be working with Niomi anymore"

Has any company ever come out against an influencer for this? I know it has happened for people who have been racist etc but for breaking covid rules seems never to happen

Can I just say I love your name

I'm going to go against the grain here (contrary to the vegan jokes that prevail on every page - tattle's equivalent of writing 'bacon' on a vegan post) and suggest an alternative theory.

What if Joe wanted to become plant-based on his own accord? What if he remained predominantly plant-based after the breakup instead of binging on fast food like some people here suggest?

I noticed he's following David Attenborough on Instagram who constantly posts about the link between climate change and the consumption of animal products. Niomi is unnecessarily restrictive with her diet, I agree with that, but some people on this thread act like it's impossible for a man to be vegan/plant-based in the 21st century.

I posted about this on a previous thread and some people attempted to gaslight me, saying it was a one-time joke or something along those lines. I read some version of this 'joke' on every page and not only is it getting old but it's also quite ignorant.

Oh, girl. Where were you my entire twenties?
