Would it not make sense to someone wanting to throw people off the scent, to make it look like a suicide/fall?

I think it's all over for those of use looking for an interesting murder (as opposed to someone dying in the worst possible pain and fear one can imagine, through drowning in a shallow water course, as some seem to be hoping...). The only hope for a murder her is that someone had an argument and pushed her in: this doesn't seem very likely. Even if the witnesses had got the wrong day, the partner would still have had to deposit the dog without tying it up and managing to get all the CCTV acton right. A simple accident, with suicide and murder vanishingly unlikely, seems to be the way it is. I think that's me for this thread, unless there's scope with a bit more sarkines about people who whine about Tattler having folk on it who witch and pitch the murder option for fun. I mean, that's the whole point of it. It's hilarious. The witching is the absolute best and the devil's advocate stuff is EXACTLY how the authorities and media work. Please don't stop. And in the meantime, if you haven't looked at the Esther Dingley thread, do yourself a favour and tuck in to a REAL potential murderrrrr.

There‘s a very short amount of time unaccounted for, something like that I feel would take time and effort. I don’t believe someone with that train of thought would leave her phone there and there‘d be risking it with her dog also being there, as they wouldn’t know Willow wouldn’t attack them, afterall she wasn’t on her lead.
Yes on a forum especially where no one knows you..or your little quirks..its really hard to not offend people or feel offended yourself. XIt's still one of the things I find hardest about chatting on a forum. People can't see your facial expression or hear your tone! I'm quite sarcastic too and I've discovered I deliever statements sometimes that seem dreadfully blunt when they were meant conversationally.
I think we disagree on the potential outcomes of this case but thanks for being so friendly x

I think the majority of us were hoping Nicola would be found alive, certainly not ‘dying in the worst possible pain and fear one can imagine’ your words not mine. Nor murdered as you seem to be hoping for judging by your rather
