Yes for all Deborah did the awful bloody ads. When her time came she shared it with everyone, she didn’t use it or play for anything. She was raw and just showed it like it was for her.
NNL must be really struggling with whatever her bloods, scans, and new is but I personally feel that she does owe her followers the briefest of update.
How do you know she’s on a syringe driver ? Obviously it’s not always a good sign but I couldn’t see it. Alex looks quite happy.

Absolutely. I only have limited knowledge second hand of trials but a big part of the research in addition to response is monitoring side effects. They need candidates who are fairly well and symptom free to use as a baseline.
I struggle to see Nicky being suitable for a trial even if her disease progression and previous treatments made her eligible in theory. Clinical trials can be brutal on patients and the regime does not allow for breaks for holidays etc as blood tests particularly will be done frequently and at certain intervals in the trial protocol.
Does N not have any other options left? I thought she had one standard treatment to start when/if she's physically well enough?
Because in one of the photos, in her numbered list, at '6' she mentions and shows the syringe driver being attached to her body.
I probably looked 'quite happy' in the last pictures taken with my mother, but underneath I was a sleep-deprived, heartbroken wreck. I probably looked quite happy today walking around town but underneath I was struggling like hell. Cameras can lie.
I know. Why does the bloke always have to act like a complete dick?? Am sure the absolute last thing he felt like doing was getting dressed up like that!
I feel like the food thing is another way of her trying to stave off death-- the thing you always see with cancer patients when they really go downhill fast (like BB) is that they lose a lot of weight. I think the intense dinners are her trying to keep her body going. Something she can control, in an uncontrollable situation! Also a way for Alex to try to protect/ care for her. My aunt bought my Uncle homemade dinners in daily when he was hospitalised on EOL care.
Why does she say don't forget this is just a snippet? What is she trying to say? That this is the first time Alex has dressed up as a lobster? That things are worse than they look or better? Maybe I'm being thick but lobster or no lobster, no talk of further treatment, going home and the syringe driver all sound pretty bad.

I've always thought rightly or wrongly that the massive appetite she has always claimed to have is largely for show.
I've just caught up and this thread has been a bit of a rollercoaster hasn't it 
I've always said I do feel sad for Nikki's situation because she's so young and she shouldn't be facing the end of her life at such a young age, its devastating I should imagine. However I don't agree with the way she has monetised and in a way exploited her illness for social media.
The update she posted wasn't really an update was it other than saying her bloods etc have all been going in the wrong direction and she's now in an increasing amount of pain.
If she's had the worst news I can imagine it must be hard to type it up when you've built yourself up and someone who only posts being positive and also it's probably harder to post because once it's out there it seems more real top as then everyone knows. But at the same time if she can type up a post the length that she did tonight surely she could update all the people that are really worries about her too? I don't know, it's a tricky one really but it has been a whole week.

Definitely. We only see a small bite taken or complete meals. I feel like Alex is bringing things in to try and encourage Nicky to eat
Shes very obviously got some sort of food/eating issues/disordered eating, shes Dropped many breadcrumbs about it over tje years. Theres no way she consumes the amount of food she shows on instagram. Its 100% for show.
the whole “this is only a snippet“ troupe is a back handed jibe at tattle and at people “judging“ her by what she posts online; its her thinly veiled way of saying that its unfair to call her out on things because as far as she is concerned she doesnt show everything. Just the ususal insta-hun passive agressive bullshit.
She said in the non update update that the pain has been making her sick so I can’t imagine she’s eating much.

Loss of appetite is a huge complication of cancer. Added to that extreme pain and I'd be surprised if she feels like eating much at all. Why not just stop with the food porn and tell it like it is? Am sure people in a similar position would be comforted by knowing they're not the only one struggling. I know it's not really comparable but there's nothing worse when you're ill than being nagged or feeling obliged to eat when you feel sick.
