He has to know the people saying that are as deluded as he is, surely. Also, if he has researched it at all, he'll know you have to go to counselling yourself, during your training/studying. And even after you qualify. He is a classic narcissist, and that will become evident to anyone with any psychotherapy background who may be involved in him becoming...whatever type of counsellor he 'thinks' he might become. I would bet my house he will never become any type of counsellor. Ugh.
Also: I haven't watched for a few weeks, saw a pic of him @Clarity seeker posted! What has happened to him in the last few months? He looks desperate.

I did counselling at university and you are correct, you have to have a lot of counselling yourself as a part of counselling training. You open yourself up, make yourself vulnerable and share a lot with the people you learn with. It’s a very hard course to do.

This counsellor thing has really irked me. He’s got no experience of working with damaged people, he’s been unemployed for years and has had ample time to have volunteered or to have done some entry-level work to get a proper feel for if he actually wants to work with addicts. He doesn’t socialise outside the family, apart from with Nadia’s closest friend and in her presence, it’s clear that he doesn’t have the people skills to retain or start friendships, these are the same untaught natural skills that are needed to listen and advise others by building a relationship of trust.

I believe it’s either of these that is actually going on:

1 - his lack of income and ability to find paid directing work is affecting their marriage, so he is embarking on an msc because he or Nadia don’t see it worth working if he can’t demand £60+ per, which being fully qualified in London would be a possible rate. He also won’t want to work with the really difficult clients, the type we see as the stereotypical addict - he wants to work with the middle-class types who have high incomes.

2 - it’s just one of their lies and he’s not doing the course. Both daughters now don’t want to be in camera, it’s not making a significant income, and some of the antics could be causing tensions for Nadia at LW. But they have their adoring £1.99 misfits that they need to try to keep on side and paying for content. Mark specifically made the point to state on camera that it would take up 30 hours per week...now that is not far off a full-time job, especially if there is a lot of commute involved. Remember that as Nadia only works apx 2 short days per week...neither of them are used to a real work schedule so to them 30 hours would seem a huge commitment. So by Mark being SO BUSY concentrating on his course, which will eventually HELP so many vulnerable people...how can the subs complain when he then states that he needs to drop parts of their content to accommodate both ‘jobs’. If it’s a lie as a way to lead into dropping off the content I wouldn’t be surprised, I’ve been wondering for a while what their exit strategy is because they have amassed a vulnerable following.

Also, that laptop screen was filthy! What sort of skank knowingly films the screen with the intentions of sharing with thousands of followers with large blobs of grime distorting it? Di’s flat is a disgrace, Mark seems to revel in all the crap, when he should be encouraged her to reduce it as she is now elderly with bad knees and living with piles of stuff everywhere will become more dangerous the more frail she becomes. Another sign that he would make a bad counsellor is that he can’t seem to appreciate that a clean and tidy environment impacts on the way people think, feel and behave.

why is mark becoming a counsellor; surely he should be training other people to counsel. the idea that this genius is going ot be subject to someone else teaching him is just offensive. what is wrong with the world. I suspect when he goes for his interview they will realise they are with a being of deeper understanding and will prostrate themselves at his feet.

I know. He can't even comb his hair or put on clean clothes. The train wreck lets his mother live in a complete fire hazard of a flat and can't even get her repairs done. Like everything he announces it never happens.

What a sorry sight Nadia decorating the tree on her own...Kiki is 13 and yet she gets talked about as if she's 18, perhaps if they put the camera away the tree decoration would have been more appealing to the girls. I have a young teen and all I heard for the last week of Nov was when we were putting up the tree, I find it hard to believe that Kiki isn't interested especially as they so wanted an advent calendar.

the vlogmas thing really isn't working............... without it being a family thing, and with the girls having to remove themselves from the filming, it's a perverse intrusion, which destroys the thing it is supposed to record. here's are lovely family cwissmiss for everyone to see, except it isn't, it's just some old people acting like toddlers, whilst the "kids" hide in their rooms to escape it all.

How would he even get accepted on to a masters course without a bachelors in counselling, some voluntary work in a related field or actually currently working in a counselling or addiction type job? Those courses aren’t usually for people starting out in counselling even if you have a degree in something else.

I know people who live in MUCH bigger houses than theirs, with MUCH bigger families, and they don't have a tenth of the rubbish/cardboard that the Sawalha-Adderleys have...

His most regular drive out is to the tip to offload the mountains of cardboard. It used to feature alot in their vlogs.
Ironically he stopped featuring the cardboard mountain tip runs when they getting getting the backlash they are getting since his lordship took over!

As for counselling, counselors have to be expert listeners. Mark cannot listen to anyone for more than a couple of seconds!

He's an insult to therapists who've trained hard, he struggles to maintain his own personal hygiene never mind committing to a full time course and all the self motivation that requires. It's another delusion...

When discussing ideas for Vlogmas several subs said why don't you review Crackers... The Crackers you pull before your Christmas Meal, because some are v good and some are v bad...

At the beginning of Vlogmas #5, Brain of Britain Nadia pulls out bags of chemically enriched, calorie laden ready meals, deducted off the tax bill because she is "taste testing for the subs!"...

She then PULLS OUT 1 SOLITARY BOX OF CHEESE CRACKERS "BECAUSE THE SUBS WANTED ME TO TEST Crackers!!!!!!

YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT UP HOW STUPID THAT WOMAN Is!

It also highlights how her mind is constantly thinking about food!! Gluttonous is her middle name. That and the thrill she must feel at dodging the tax bill with her bags of tax deductable food

The taste testing is just an excuse for her greediness and they lap it up because they probably aren't paying for it all and/or they're claiming the tax. Three days in and she still hasn't sorted out the decorations for the fire hazard Christmas tree overload. If it's taken her this long to put it all together it means they will stay up until April.

A few weeks ago when they both looked extra rough and Kiki was trying to swerve the cameras must have been around the time the girls announced they didn't want to be in the vlog anymore. The channel is struggling for content now that they can't use their girls, it isn't a family vlog, it's just Mark walking around talking into the camera at every opportunity.

yes it is and you have to be rid of your own issues before you qualify as otherwise you are transferring your own issues on to other vulnerable people- he has a lot of work to do on himself first - you cant help others if you cant help yourself
