There really is a time and a place in this world where the word trolling is appropriate,

However, I'm so sick of everyone who challenges the social media money makers as trolls. Its too easy to stick a label on people who have opinions an call them trolls.

I see what we do here as our response to unacceptable aspects and behaviour of contemporary culture, and the seemingly bizarre acceptance of monetizing and cashing in on it, at vulnerable peoples expense (in our case the Sawalha-Adderleys).

We need to find a word that sums us up because we are not trolls in my opinion.

@Seeking clarity, you write so well, I'm sure manky is going to write a book on trolling, so a book about the other side would be the antithesis to a trolling book.

The world is changing rapidly, the everyday men and woman are becoming broadcasters in their bedrooms! Even Ashley Gardner has a channel!

In such changing times, reference
needs to be made to those who question these newly promoted broadcasters who do what they do just for profit but under the guise of caring!

Let's try come up with a more appropriate word than trolling because WE are so much more that that

I've been unwell recently and in bed recovering quite a bit, I can honestly say that you tattlers make me laugh out loud when I read your posts. Day and Night. I've never known such quick witted observations.

So... she admitted around the same time this was filmed (3 years ago) that she hadn’t been to the dentist in 9 years.
Then she claims she grinds her teeth so she had to have Botox.
Botox was for vanity.
For her hang-downy-jolwly-tusk things.
A simple night time mouth guard would help with jaw clenching/ teeth grinding.
So transparent.

I've had botox for bruxism and its really effective. Sadly it does nothing cosmetic like jowls! Mouth guards are truly uncomfortable to sleep in long term . Just sayin' !

I don't watch any other family vloggers anymore. I find they all become greedy in the end and exploit their kids. I watch escape to the chateau which is interesting.

The thumbs down always used to be v low, it grew to 5% of the thumbs up everyday. Nowadays the thumbs down are often 20% of the thumbs up which speaks volummes

It’s funny, he is sooo irritated with OUR “Thumbs down” he is trying to compensate with begging for “Thumbs up” which is so irritating for anyone watching , it results in even more “Thunbs down”.

Yeah, poor show all round for their loyal followers. She quickly said yesterday, we'll be mixing it up a bit with the coffee tit-shows, and doing a few night-time lives instead. ie, getting ready to do less content, and preparing their loyal subs for the worst. They don't do any more live cooking stuff (twice a week they promised), and what happened to the lunch box show? They've pulled back generally in recent weeks and don't reveal their every move like they used to.

Regarding what we are, I would say we are 'COMMENTATORS': just like it's OK for them to comment on people in the spotlight (Ellen D, Maria Carey, Johnny Depp, Richard Madeley, Jeremy Corbyn, Boris Johnson, Witty) the fact that the Nittys put themselves out there means it's OK for us to comment on them too. Jack Maate regularly comments on other YouTubers and isn't deemed as a Troll. I guess the difference is that he isn't anonymous..

they will move away from YT eventually as its all about instagram TV now and they will do lots of ads etc - its what everyone is doing. They are about to tit on their loyal subs as insta TV is all about promoting and selling and of course 'influencing'

Here’s wishing gentle healing and strength for recovery.
I too have been bed bound for sometime hence having too much time on my hands to ‘troll’ Myself into oblivion.
You can go one way or the other when poorly- either fall into the pit of despair and dark thoughts, or develop a warped sense of humour.
I’m sure like myself, you’ve visited both places.
I’m happy to report that I’ve come out of the pit of despair now and not going back there again. ()
I still manage to earn a bit of a crust whilst flat on my back...
By writing!!!!!
Sooo... maybe I will explore your suggestion.

BraLard is one of the funniest words I've ever read on here and I'll never forget it, it's also very appropriate.

I'm reading a new book called Dear NHS by Adam Kay where he's filled the book with 100 celebs and their nhs stories, it v humorous and all goes to charity.

I so wish we could write a book using our stories on people who monetize their youtube and exploit others, it would be hilarious based upon the comments I read here. It could be called "The other side to "trolling"

Oh i hope you get well soon i know what you mean about tattlers getting you through a hard time my daughter was pretty ill recently and my husband was in another country andi have ben virtualy housebond i think having a laugh with other tattlers kept me sane/ kept me going especially through lockdown.
