I know a couple like this, they've pushed and pushed for years for one of their children to be on the spectrum to the point that they've actually convinced their oldest that they are! (they are most definitely not) but the kid now also plays up to it, because they know it gets them attention from their parents. Hope this will not be the outcome for Poppy.
