I haven’t been on for ages but I had to jump on after that donkey post. It’s really riled me up.
There is no petition that will do anything to put an immediate stop to those activities. It takes minutes to research that you need to contact the local councils in the area who are in charge of the licenses for these companies.
Hey Sopha, why don’t you contact the local councils directly? How about contact the Donkey Sanctuary to understand more about the license requirements and if you can use your platform to help? Why not research donkey sanctuaries around the world to see if there is a way you can help?
I doubt that she even understands that donkeys (and many other animals, dogs included) were bred specifically as working animals. Donkeys were specifically bred by the Romans as working animals and they are still used today in many countries, living in even more horrendous conditions and harsh climates.
If you’re going to start talking about animal welfare let’s start with your fat dog. Let’s also start with the many (not all) dairy farms in the UK where calfs are taken away from their mothers immediately after birth, and how heifers are artificially impregnated so that they keep producing milk that you happily put in your Pyrex jug for cereal in the morning?

Anyone would think she had just come back from being away in the army the way she was greeted by everyone, fuck sake she went a girlie holiday but saying that she never goes anywhere does she?
