I’ve just gotten in from work. Is she actually for bleeping real with her new YouTube video I’ve just gotten the notification. And now Jessie is posting her PCOS story ( again ) do they literally just copy each other?? I’m Scarlett for both of them no wonder their mother distances her from them with their constant lies, do they have munchausens or something?? , honestly there’s something really wrong with the two of them. So dangerous. Melanie is a disgrace and to say “ First try!!” duck off you geebag rubbing your amazing ability to have kids in people’s faces (seems to be the only thing she can successfully do ) then claim you have fertility issues go and get your sister some help for her ❄ problem that would be more on your line

Right excuse the rant but I skimmed through her video and she's after really pissing me off.
She has absolutely no right to give anyone any tips of things to do to increase chances of getting pregnant, she clearly has no fertility issues and has no idea what it feels like to not know if you can get pregnant at all.
She goes on about bullshit like 'research shows that women with too high a bmi can take twice as long to get pregnant' and talk about how it's important to keep a healthy weight. The BMI scale is completely outdated and inaccurate- you cannot tell someone's health from their weight. Furthermore, where are your sources for all the research Melanie? Facebook doesn't count. Also, women with actual fertility issues such as PCOS can gain weight solely due to their condition, and their fertility struggles are caused by their conditions, not by their bleeping weight. Will she ever cop the absolute duck onto herself.

At the end of the day, there is nothing you can do to speed along conception, it will happen when it happens. For some people like Melanie, it will happen so easily, and for others, it will be a lot harder to conceive. There is nothing you can change about your lifestyle that can actually be the sole reason that you did or didn't get pregnant.

She needs to stop talking about topics that she is not qualified to talk about. You are not a doctor Melanie, nor are you a fertility specialist, a dietician, or a teacher. You are nothing more than someone who talks to a camera with no skills whatsoever.

Jesus wept. What is wrong with this woman? Why does she repeatedly use these types of descriptors when talking about her own baby.. It’s just not normal. “Naked” … “under my flesh” makes me feel nauseous 🤢

Completely agree with this & appreciate all you said.
We are the same age as Mel & we have been trying for 22 months & with a fertility clinic now approaching 9. I have endometriosis and even before being diagnosed 2 years ago I, since my late teens, was chemical free with cleaning products, make up, eat mostly organic home made meals, work out daily(apart from when the witch arrives), have acupuncture monthly for the past 4 years etc. I look like the picture of health from the outside. Inside is another story. Nothing can stop my body from being estrogen dominant. Unless you have been or are going through it you cannot comprehend how hard it is to get your period
e v e r y s i n g l e m o n t h & watch people around you fall pregnant, have their baby & even be pregnant again. Who is her video aimed at ? It certainly isn't the infertile community. And anyone else who is blessed to get pregnant in the first 3 months wouldn't be looking up these videos either! It is as usual an attention seeking video of Mel bragging about how quickly and easily she got pregnant. So insensitive on so many levels. Even more so with a friend who has been struggling.

So someone asked about fertility and she just happened to have a sponsored video ready about it to upload today? She's about as transparent as muddy water

I’m confused about why she is acting like 30/31 is an old age to conceive and cannot believe that she feels that any of the steps she took had an sort of impact. Obviously there’s many different paths to parenthood and many different ways conceiving etc. can be difficult and not discounting that. But 30 is surely a very average even young age by today’s standards? Also promoting a natural family planning app that has been roundly criticised seems very cynical.

I really hate how natural cycles advertises, using influencers with mostly young followings. Temping can be great if you don't mind the risk of becoming pregnant but you have to be so strict with timings and so aware of your body for it to be effective. They say it is 99% effective, but it is actually 93% with typical use. When you are younger and have less regular cycles it can be far less effective, and of course they don't allow that disclaimer in the advert.

Also I had a friend using it and she planned to start trying for a baby in 2020, but she actually fell pregnant in November 2019, she doesn't count it as a failure but it just adds to the anecdata I've seen on other adverts about people falling unexpectedly pregnant.

Can't actually believe she had the neck to post that video?? I won't be watching because I don't want to feel like shite.

I hope anyone who watched it and are struggling are minding themselves. She is not an authority or an information point for factual information on anything let alone fertility.

The Wiki for melanie is up. I added to it just to get it off the ground. Please feel free to delete it all/edit as you wish. I was doing it from my phone and it's not great. A good place to keep all her BS in one place.

Having zero friends probably has something to do with this. She has no idea what an average person her own age is like.

Natural Cycles (personally) gives me the creeps. It's just the rhythm method as an app, which of course Catholic-in-denial Melanie would be all over.

Thread suggestion: Melanie Murphy #13 My channel's gone tits up

She's being pulled up in YouTube comments.

Big leap and difference between her saying- irregular periods and now backpedalling with- cycles changing a little

Cycles changing or deviating by a few days is totally normal.

She's changing her tune and backtracking on what she's previously said, which indicates to me *a big fat liar*

Also, why do people have this idea that hormonal contraceptives are poisonous or dangerous? It can be a lifesaver for some people and its so frustrating seeing people act like its some awful thing.

Yes, you may have to figure out which method works for you (I went from the minipill to the hormonal coil and I feel SO much better, I even have a regular on-the-dot period for the first time in my life). But natural family planning doesnt always work for some people, especially people with PCOS and endo who have highly irregular periods and fertility windows.

She needs to shut the duck up... she got pregnant immediately and has no right to tell other women how to increase their chance of conceiving.

I remember on her posts after the baby someone said they were feeling broody looking at her and she said she was the same when she saw that kind of content online every month when she was on her period before she fell pregnant ?

Her sisters even worse she’s telling her younger viewers the pill was ‘fuckin with her head ‘

and she’s resorted to using the natural method , how many unplanned pregnancies could occur from that 🙄

And don't forget how Melanie stated in her own words mind you taking a pregnancy test days before my next period was due.

I feel so sorry for young girls watching both their videos. They would sell anything with a sob story attached for extra brownie points. It's manipulating and disgusting.

Hannah literally just put up a video a few days ago about her news having pco and Melanie the self obsessed moron she is, puts up a video titled how I got pregnant first try. Great friend you are Mel.

The pair of them are that manipulative, always the victim of toxic exes, vague illnesses that there's no doubt in my mind that Melanie trapped Thomas.

That app as well is useless for people with PCOS. But Jess will shill anything so she's enough in her wallet for pretty little things next restock.

So I use natural cycles - have for just under two years I think? Anyway, if you use it to avoid pregnancy it tells you to use condoms when there’s a risk. So it’s not completely Catholic NFP (where condoms would be a no-no, and you abstain instead). It works for me to track my cycle and ovulation, but I’m also not actively avoiding pregnancy or trying to get pregnant (single, no current sexual partner etc) and so can afford the margin of error. I reallllly hate the way they get influencers to advertise for them, and the way influencers who do promote them demonise hormonal options. Makes me want to discontinue my subscription.

I don’t think it’s so much the demonising (Jess) it’s the sheer stupidity on advising a young audience on using natural cycles, especially if they’re not used to tracking their cycles they might think they can do a temp check once a month and that’s them covered 🙄

Not related to anyone here but I see this a lot on different threads do people really think catholics practice by the book ,I've yet to meet anyone that fulfils the meaning of a true catholic .

You have to temp at the same time every morning without fail the second you wake up. That's grand for a woman actively trying, along with checking cervical mucus. But to advertise this tit to young girls as a fork of contraception?A lot of effort.

When I was first sexually active and on the pill I had to have an alarm to tell me to take the pill. I would still forget to take it. But we also used condoms.

You can also ovulate early for no apparent reason- has happened me as soon as one day after my period ended. There are also instances where you ovulate more than once in a cycle. Those apps aren't worth a tit. Our bodies aren't robots either that comply with a "highly intelligent algorithm" as Mel puts it.

So many comments on her post saying it's not a reliable form of contraception.

What Melanie is doing is bordering on illegal. It just all feels suss, morally corrupt and illegal. People who lie about illnesses are dangerous and just feel illegal. I don’t know how else to put it. Lie about something positive that makes you look good - why in God’s name would you lie about something so horrible and devastating? Why would you lie about something your supposed friend is struggling with ? Hannah Witton has ulcerative colitis= Melanie has IBS, Hannah Witton has PCO and infertility issues= Melanie has a gammy ovary and now says she was worried about fertility. She is evil.
