SORRY NOW, Melanie said there she feels nervous opening up online about breastfeeding

I"m not really sure what she thinks she has done since she had the baby if that's not opening up and being unable to shut the duck up about her boobs. Since I'm not sure how much more she can obsessively talk about it. Can anyone give an inking as to how much more she can possibly talk about her boobs?
She's a nip slip away from it being her entire identity 😂

Those Q&As.....🤦‍♀️ She is incapable of not making something all about her. And dresses it up as empathy. Which is utter bollox. She is so self centered it's infuriating. She clearly has a lot of vulnerable followers. My only wish for them is they take life advice from someone who isn't a complete head.

If you're really suffering from mental health issues, talk to a trusted friend, your GP etc. Not vloggers. Please.

Did she really just tell someone to celebrate their 40 day sobriety with a glass of non-alcoholic wine?! Does she not realise how bloody idiotic that is if the person has addiction issues?

Not everyone gives up alcohol for content and weight loss Mel.

A patient genuinely asked me at Christmas a few years ago if they could have non-alcoholic wine as it has something like 0.02% alcohol in it and they didn’t want to chance it.

My mam will never drink again, including non-alcoholic stuff because it will put a goo on her. Melanie hasn’t a clue because she wasn’t an alcoholic. Terrible advice.

She acts like a recovering addict but she just avoids booze because it turns her into a twit (like many of us). There's a difference, but for Melanie it's just another notch on the hypochondriac bedpost.

Even the non alcoholic stuff can be very triggering for some people. For her the only experience she thinks valid and allows for is her own. She feels qualified to tell people to celebrate with a glass of non alcoholic wine when maybe their relationship with alcohol became toxic because they turned to alcohol as a reward or even comfort. How anybody still takes her seriously and follows her advice on any topic is beyond me.

ETA: I don't want to get into the vaccine discussion again, but her saying continuously that vaccinated people can still pass and get the virus is true, but the same is true for any form of birth control, even condoms. You can still get pregnant or get an STD because of malfunction but the probability is just very different. It's not even that her opinions irk me, it's the smug gob that accompanies everything she says.

Exactly this. It would be different if she knew them well or was their dr to advise. Celebrating with non-alcoholic wine is still celebrating with alcohol, it’s a substitute but the mindset is the same. Hopefully that person is strong enough in their own sobriety to not go by what an influencer says on the subject.

Helpful celebration too would be: get the shoes, bag, beauty treatment you can now afford after cutting out alcohol. You deserve a treat, go out for dinner, meet a friend for a walk or have a movie night etc.

Celebrating with fake wine isn’t it.

Exactly. Not to generalise but I imagine most Irish people have at least one alcoholic in the family- those in mine, who are on the path to recovery wouldn't be able to drink a non alcoholic wine... it would send them back on the drink.

She's so incredibly sheltered with a grandiose opinion of herself. I can't imagine how "content" one truly could be if they spend their days inserting their opinion into every hot topic going and writing questions to themselves on Instagram just to look like people give a tit about her voice.

I'm so over her. She badly needs a wiki here with all her shittakes on covid, abortion and "men's rights"

I'm actually just thinking now - imagine me saying to my da- oh dad well done on 2 years sober have a glass of non alcoholic wine!! She's a dumb duck.

Sorry to double post. But I've requested a wiki for Melanie... So all her BS is consolidated to one place.

Not entirely sure how it works... But I think everyone can add to it.

It's deserved at this stage.

Trying to compare covid to obesity/weight related health issues in her recent Q&A in terms of its impact on the health service?? Does she not get that with covid it’s about overwhelming the health service all at once with hospitalisations? Not about how many people die from weight related health issues or how much it costs overall but the immediate need. How does she not get that?!

About time 👏👏

*Trigger Warning* mentions miscarriage.

The bit where Mel says I had no idea if I would be able to conceive naturally. She got pregnant at 19? Any doctor, specialist and gynae will tell their patients if they conceived in the past, their chances of conceiving again are very high.

Also she said her periods were irregular but stated on youtube that she tested a few days before her period was due.

Got pregnant before (allegedly!), had regular periods, got pregnant straight away but still acts like she had fertility issues.

She didn't heal anything, she just got hyper focused and channeled her orthorexia into non-existent fertility issues.

She also states she had a "gammy ovary" an entire year before she got pregnant yet only got referred to a specialist/ultrasound when they were TTC??? Like ,what??

If she had a gammy ovary in 2019 an entire year before trying for a baby- it would have been in her medical notes- too many follicles, abnormalities etc and she would have been refered to a gynae/ultrasound back then straight away to rule out pcos/endo/cancer.... not an entire year later.

The fact she stated she had a gammy ovary then a whole year later admits to never seeing a gynae/specialist is very telling.

In 2919…didn’t she live in a house with her dad…wouldn’t call that a box…now she has a baby and legit lives in a attic…all self inflicted because she wanted a baby and she wants a house in skerries…so yea…no empathy from me I’m afraid
Like the amount of couples that have to choose between buying a house or starting a family, not everyone gets to have both and god forbid you have ACTUAL fertility issues, forget about a mortgage when you’re forking our 1000’s for IVF
She is the type of Irish girl I removed out of my circle of friends and out of my life, she’s extremely old fashioned, judgemental, selfish and narcissistic…like many Irish mothers and mothers in law that we thought our generation were weeding out, she keeps the old Irish Mammy persona ALIVE
Get yourself a scarf for mass there Mel so your perm doesn’t get ruined!

Ooh, I saw Terrie McEvoy getting heat on that page the other day for advertising a fertility clinic when she had no difficulty conceiving. Actually thought to myself how Mel is lucky with her small audience, she gets away with everything! Delighted to see her called out. Might actually earn her a few followers, for once.

Looking forward to her “getting legal on the case” 😂🤣

This whole promoting a company to help with fertility even though she had no issues getting pregnant is such a bleeping slap in the face to anyone struggling with fertility, as usual she is an insensitive cow!
I can’t stand women like her and I’m sorry to say but there is a lot of people out there like her
Dying for the wedding and then to buy the gaff
Then can’t wait to be pregnant and have a little baby…but then they realise this baby is for bleeping life, not just the first year when it’s small and cute!
Thomas isn’t much better, I don’t think either of them realised “oh tit we made a baby that will be a toddler, a child, a teenager, an adult”
And so many of these people rush into having a family because it’s what they think they want…5 years down the line they realise they gave up a lot especially in their relationship with their partner and things don’t work out
Not saying this is everyone but people like Thomas and Mel haven’t a clue about life or what they want, they’re following some archaic life plan that they think they should follow, marriage, kids, house in our hometown we grew up in and never leave…
Sorry long ranting post

Her friend Hannah Witton is actually struggling to get pregnant and has polycystic ovaries (PCO not PCOS) and if I were Hannah I’d be a bit miffed. I truly don’t understand how they’re friends and how hannah puts up with her…

She isnt a very nice person so wouldn't be surprised if it was a humble brag aimed at Hannah. I know a few people like this, narcissist tendencies through and through. A major indication for me was the self indulgent q and a which many pointed out previously in which she relayed EVERYTHING back to her.
