Ffs I missed that! I did see a post earlier which has since been deleted some quote I didn't manage to screenshot it.

He posted some quote about life not being worth living and the picture of him and Stephen as angels again. He's saying his mood is bipolar, I think it cycles too fast for that, I think it's BPD.

Not surprised his diet page didn't go well, he's got so much internalized fatphobia it's awful, all he does is mock overweight people, just because he is one doesn't make it ok. I also get a bit of misogyny from some of his memes though that will go over his head, a lot of gay culture mocks women alot and he does this all the time. And as for his puzzle piece tattoo don't even get me started on that, he has so many problematic issues. And I'm queer, fat and possibly autistic so this all interests me greatly
I have thought this so many times!! Totally agree!

The puzzle piece isn’t really accepted or used any more is it?
Isn't the charity behind that trying to find ways to diagnose autism in the womb so women can terminate their pregnancies? I sware I heard something along those lines before. Could be a diff charity.

I know we don’t really know how their relationship works and I hate to go down this route but surely his mother could/should do more to help him? He annoys me but he seriously needs help and the fact that he’s not even getting that from his own mother is very sad.
Yeah I’m a mother, although my son is still a child, but I know I wouldn’t stand by and let him act this way. Yes he’s an adult but he has autism so he needs some extra support. I hate to speculate but I get the feeling his mum has probably never been that hands on so now can’t step in. Would also explain how he’s gone off the rails, not enough support.

Again actually hate saying things like that especially if they’re reading but ultimately this isn’t something for his followers to fix and some of them are really heavily invested in him. It’s not fair that they’re having to carry the emotional baggage he’s putting out there when he’s not doing anything himself to improve his situation. It’s cruel actually to those poor people worrying about him.

edit - my son is also possibly on the spectrum, too early to know for sure and so I feel especially passionate about how little support Marcus has clearly had through his childhood

He’s somewhere between histrionic and narcissistic personality disorder I would say
There's no mood cycling though with those is there?

Its associated with Autism Speaks , a crappy group that's incredibly damaging to the autism community and yes they promote eugenics.

Just by the loud obnoxious autistics. Many use the puzzle piece, functioning labels and Aspergers label
In his mother's petition which out of "60000 organic followers" he managed to get a few hundred to sign she said he is high functioning. Is that an out of date term?

not at all. functioning labels are actively used in care settings still. I’m high functioning, can work as a carer, have a child, drive a car ect whereas the young people
I support need 24hour care and 2-1 carer. so considered low functioning and this reflects their care packages.

Oh ok I wasn't too sure. Do you think Marcus needs someone who specialises in autism to support/get him the help he needs or is it more a case of he needs support for his mental health?

Actually functioning labels are out of date and are being used less and less because they are damaging and unhelpful, they only function to help the NT. You may function high on one day but not another, community generally finds them offensive.

im not convinced his mood does cycle tbf. I think he realises his followers see him for what he is and thinks tit act in control now Marcus. He’s got far more awareness than he lets on

I know how my autism works 😆 from my
Experience in care which I’ve worked for 10plus years I’ve seen no decline in functioning labels. I lived
In ignorant bliss until I joined a few online communities. All I’ve seen is people dogpile others for using the word Aspergers, Aba therapy and police other people’s language funnily enough. Thankfully it’s not real life. Always the self diagnosed as well that have the most
To say and tell people how to describe themselves. Yet the irony seems lost on them.

I'm awaiting this evening with baited breath. If he pops up and posts a pic of his table number I think I will explode!
