Maybe she didn't think what she said after made sense or she didn't want to offend anyone and get backlash.. it is kind of conflicting for her to talk about other people being insecure about their features and changing them because she does the exact same so she has no room to give advice on topics like this? I also think people like her either can't form their own opinion about things or are just scared to voice it in case people get offended if that makes sense

I am asian and as well as many other girls have never felt good enough and have been made fun off for my eyes for my whole life. The reason asian people want to make themselves more westernised or whiter looking is so that they feel more desired or like the ideal white woman. Mads as a white woman you do not have the right to say 'asian woman are insecure about their eyes so they change them' we change them because we are indroctrinated to feel that white beauty is fair superiour to what we can ever achieve. Being insecure as a white woman is different. Pulling you eye back so you look more asian is cultural appropriation.

I think she was trying to say that white women want to make their eyes look more slanted because its 'in' right now while women from Asia who naturally have slanted eyes want rounder eyes - so its kind of like we never appreciate what we have but yeah it was poorly executed and its a sensitive subject as white women aren't really made to feel inferior for having big eyes but Asian women may have experienced discrimination for that which could be a reason why they want to change certain features.

it’s been in my head 2 daysIf you use the dramatic filter on your camera roll and turn it down a bit then turn down exposure, brilliance and highlights turn up contrast a little them the brightness and add a grain it looks pretty similar, if you vsco the A3 filter I think it is looks similar. Hers tended to look darker because of the colour scheme in the Dakota though and she deffo edited them more than just her filter preset
