What is the point so say she spent holidays in Florida? How desperate is she to show "she has money"... people and mostly this year are not showing off their whole life around the planet and how wealthy they are.

As someone else in this thread said, she has no class and no status. That is why she needs to bring it up everytime. Also her lies get out of control haha. How can she had holidays in Florida on one side but not had that living room with the fire on the other? We know her family story. Stop trying to be fake Lydia! It will just come back at some point.

Now is already visible, no luxe or known brand deals over black friday. Apart from le mer she hasn't done anything other than KM. Is all a big fake bubble.

Yes I find it so odd how she contradicts herself on the regular about her background.

She’s also posted somewhere that she applied for social housing when she was in her early 20’s but didn’t qualify. And on her recent video she said about not having a fire in her childhood home.

When they bought the bungalow I remember her saying along the lines of they’d never even stayed in a house like that before, let alone dreamt that they could own one.

So what is Lydia’s reality? Does she just pick and choose what her story is?

Trying to pretend she’s humble - when really she’s the girl with a chip on her shoulder who thinks the world owes her? (I think that’s how you described yourself in your blog Lydia)

I think this is why I prefer the likes of Amie Chase and Sophie Shohet. They are a completely different type of influencer as I know that they view their bags as an investment and are not trend driven as much as the likes of other you tubers. Sophie clearly loves Dior and buys it herself, Amie shows clear consideration for her own style and whether something will be considered as an investment piece. She debates the pros and cons and whether they will work for her wardrobe/style. As such, I’m more inclined to trust their opinion. I wouldn’t mind if mulberry or other brands gifted these influencers as I know I’d get a worthwhile opinion. Whether this would change over time, I don’t know but I honestly feel that these ladies know their style and are that established that they wouldn’t try to fool their followers in promoting an item that they were paid to promote. It would be too obvious if you know what I mean.

It’s as we all keep saying- new money is gauche and flash whereas true wealth whispers.

Also latest insta stories- Christmas in Florida? Thought she was poor growing up?!
I love Sophie shohet, she always replies, can afford what she buys, isn't afraid to say what she thinks and David is a gem. I don't know why she isn't further in the influencer game than Lydia is. Does anybody watch Maria draganova? That women live in chanel

Oh her family had a holiday home in Florida....must have been before she was homeless then!
Was she kicked out by her dad as a young Lidl already tried to beg for freebies in Florida...that explains her homelessness? The soap opera continues.... 🤣

Does anybody know how old she was when her patents divorced?

I've just watched her latest flog... I am confused, was the purpose of that gifted ring to help keep her engagement that was too big ( whatever the duck that means) to keep it still? Just get it resized?! Mine also moves, isn't that normal?

has anyone heard this Florida guff before? I’m pretty sure if she had gone to Florida every Christmas and had a rich & magical time we’d have heard all about it by now!! #bragger #noclass

Anyone else notice Claire Chanelle liked in the Frow dior pic?
One thing about Claire, she has friends that have been her friends for ages. From her vlogs where she has featured her pals, they have a lovely camaraderie. And they are not her husband's friends girlfriends ... yeah, I'm talking about you Lydiot. 🤭
Claire always likes VicITF's pics, heck, she even advised Vicky re her Hermès purchases as well as helping her score a pair of hard-to-get Chanel sandals. (They've went shopping together). VicITF thanked Claire in a few of her vlogs ...
One of Claire's issues with Lydiot - that she (Claire) would like Lydiot's pics or watch her YouTube vids but Lyds would never reciprocate the favour. Lydiot still does this to her 'friends'. She has not learnt her lesson. Claire would throw major shade and make passive aggressive comments, exactly as VicITF is doing ... Don't get me wrong, Claire Choquette is annoying AF but she is a good friend. As well as having a lovely relationship with her sis and mum.

I've watched a few of Maria's videos but I don't really like her. She goes luxury shopping all the time and never actually buys anything. She shows herself trying on loads of items but always has the same excuse that they didn't have the colour or size she wanted. I'm also a little bit suspect about what her actual career is and how she earns her money.

I used to feel abit bad about myself looking at all these influencers, and, tbh, even having conversations with friends, in terms of what people had and what they had achieved.. until my boyfriend pointed out that most people tend to big themselves up and I big myself.. down haha... and what I mean by that is.. growing up, I could say I ‘holidayed in the south of France every year’ when the reality is I went camping in France with my family lol.. I could say ‘I used to holiday in the bahamas’, when what I mean is, I went to the Bahamas once.. I could say, ‘I had a pony’ when what I mean is ‘my mum used to take me to a farm every week and I rode on a pony there’ haha, basically not everything is as it seems! And I suspect what Lydia means is ‘we holidayed in florida for Christmas once’

I wonder where her money comes from. I'd buy a house and not live in a pokey flat if I was her, put her money towards that instead of her million Chanel and LV purchases

We all have a hard upbringing. My parents divorced when I was 14 as my dad was a alcoholic and made the home miserable. my mum kicked me out when I was 16. I put myself through college to train in hair while living in a flat I couldn't afford and I've gone on to build my own company, forgave my mum and have a lovely modest home and a wonderful marriage. She needs to shut up.

I mean no offence when I say this but I think she works as an escort or is a sugar baby or something along those lines. You also rarely see her purchase these big ticket items such as Chanel bags, which leads me to think they are fake. The last video of hers I watched was the Harrods outlet one. She spent the whole video pointing out obviously expensive times such as Balmain jackets and stating how she loved them and wanted to buy them, how the prices were so cheap (still over 1k) yet she didn't buy anything at all. My tipping point was all the shopping she has been during covid, she is taking items to the dressing room and not trying them on or she would try Chanel bags on in the mirror with zero intention of buying them. However all those items she was trying have to go into quarantine for at least 48 hours after she has tried them leaving the sales associates unable to sell them to actual customers meaning they lose out on commission.

Oh wow. Never even crossed my mind. Makes a lot of sense too and the quarantined items too. Influencers really are smoke and mirrors aren't they? X

Watch Cassie Thorpe !!! She has her own fabulous style, dresses her age and does not copy anyone, her fashion choices are hers but so relatable as well. Nothing beige lol. Her YouTube and IG are her side jobs, she has a professional career but still manages to upload 3 x a week. Although she comes from a wealthy family, she spends her own money, does not put out these ridiculous hauls week after week.
