Back when I was working I visited a company in the financial industry located in Canary Wharf. I wore a thin knit monochrome dress above the knee and a black blazer with brogue style heels and tights (it was at least six years ago hence the shoe choice).

I didn't feel too formal or overdressed - just right. As @Am88 said, most men where in a shirt and trousers with a blazer. I didn't see anyone in a full suit with tie.

I will never understand why influencers pair open heeled sandals with bootcut and wide leg trousers etc especially when wearing a knitted jumper. Your legs are cold and so is your upper body but somehow your feet aren’t cold it makes zero sense and looks stupid. You should really wear a closed shoe or boot with a trouser that covers your foot or most of it.

I feel like Ali cosplays as a ‘man’ or what he thinks is a man because he is the opposite ( in my opinion ) he dresses and does the stereotypical ‘old’ man thing not age old but like back in the days old.
