The police definitely did check the garage during their first search.

In the afternoon officers wearing white suits and blue gloves were seen carrying pieces of wood out of the property and digging up the back garden. Forensic teams were also seen conducting a fingertip search of the property, focusing on drains, window ledges and the front garden and garage.

Nurse arrested over Cheshire baby deaths released on bail | Lucy Letby | The Guardian
I agree.

Though my point was to the question raised by Crime Scene 2 Court on Youtude of how the black bag found during the second search got there if the garage had already been searched.

The obvious answer is that it was put there by someone between the first and the second search.

My questioning of the garage not being included, for whatever reason, in the warrant was an attempt to find an innocent explanation - beyond it being missed during the first search.

I don't think she should ever be given the opportunity for a public interview.
A tv interview, no. But I do wish at some point she’d tell the police why she did it, and also admitted just how many she’s killed and give names, so the families know 100% what happened to their babies. It won’t happen though, it’s the only thing she’s still got control of.

It's a weird thing for a psychopath/sadist to write, and I do believe that is what she is. All the theories about wanting to be the centre of attention, narcissism, Munchausen, Dr NoName etc may have played a secondary role... but to me the main cause is that she is the typical serial killer: a psychopathic sadist who got off on the power she felt ending a human life. The trophies, the Facebook searches, the time she was standing over a dying baby without calling for attention watching them die..., even the way she made the doctors squirm in the mediation meeting, all that is consistent with a psychopathic sadist and less so with the other theories.

So I find the stuff she wrote in the notes quite odd, since some it even seems to indicate remorse. Which we know 100% she didn't and doesn't feel. My best guess is that these notes were ideas of what to say to the hospital bosses when describing how the wicked bullying doctors' accusations make her feel, the distress they've put her through, how they've made her doubt herself and her sanity. We know she must have laid it on thick for the hospital, because they were falling over themselves to make things up to her with those offers of master courses, the forced apology letters from the doctors, etc.
Absolutely agree she is a sadist and enjoyed it. It would be hard to act so violently without being one. The blood loss two babies experienced at her hands would have been exceptionally horrific but she coldly and repeatedly caused it.
I’d (genuinely!) be interested to know which bits you felt showed remorse? I think she is self pitying and says things like “I pay for it every day” but I don’t see remorse in the confession, only concern for herself and what she’s going to lose.

Exactly as I said before. What kind of single 25 year old women choses to buy a house that backs onto a cemetery. Immediately a red flag. Also the dig being on the first arrest imo means they can’t have simply missed the notes on the first search. I wonder if her parents have a business premise where she could store things
So true not many women living alone would feel comfortable that close to a cemetery!
I could be totally wrong but the impression I got from the hummingbird investigation video was that they searched the house the first time without really knowing what they were looking for and took away anything they thought was relevant. When they really went into the evidence they knew when they searched again there could be more handover sheets and notes and diary’s etc and that’s where they could find more relevant evidence so took the lot away the next time.

Ok. But you said:

'Maybe the police didn't have a warrant to search the garage the first time.
Possibly because the garage doesn't belong to her, or she rented it out... or maybe there is some other reason it wasn't searched the first time.'

So I was just pointing out that it was searched.

I think all of those things were cited as a joke for some light relief. I wouldn’t take it that seriously. I can assure you that people aren’t sprinting off to take incriminating DNA swabs of everyone wearing Matalan jumpsuits….
Maybe some people are joking but I really think others are totally serious about her "weird" clothes etc etc Her relationship with her parents does seem a co dependent one though and she did complain that they were smothering her I believe.

Honestly it’s bizarre that we’re at the point of utterly nonsensical wild theories again and “innocent explanations” 🫣

Exactly. Absolutely no need to be speculating on things that can be easily found out if you just look!

For anyone else who is really interested in LL's possible motivations, I found this 10-minute video from a clinical psychiatrist which is so interesting as he goes through a number of theories that have been bandied about.

I think she's too sick to tell the truth of why she did it and I don't think it helps anyone for her to explain why she decided to try to kill as many babies as she possibly could. If she says well I killed them because I wanted attention, that doesn't make anything any better for their families imo, it's just more torture. And do we really believe that she'd even be telling the truth? She could come up with 10 different stories over the coming years to prolong the hurt and distress of the grieving families, doesn't mean they are true. Why should she be given a platform for this?
The families know already what happened to their babies and I think most likely they probably don't want to ever see her disgusting face or hear her crappy voice again. The only reason would be for her to admit how many other victims there are but again she will never admit it and she can't be trusted.
I think she should be locked away and never give any opportunity to speak publicly again, she had her chance all throughout the trial and investigation. Let her rot in her own misery now.

You want to see how many of them on Facebook are saying that she’s been made a scapegoat. Nothing will make them change their minds. Some of them are obsessed with this vile creature
I know of a nurse (through a friend) who worked at the same hospital said the same thing..... I said a scapegoat for what? And they said the hospital's failings (they couldn't a credible answer but it was Chinese Whispers). (I believe she's guilty). The hospital obviously did have failings because of the management that ordered those apologies and didn't investigate. I think some people have fallen for the meak nice act 😡.
Wondering why the management didn't act appropriately, it's not like she wielded a lot of power and other people would be implicated. Apologies if the theories behind that has been discussed a lot.

Didn't Dr Raj Persaud get done for plagiarism? And sacked from his consultant role?

😑 no. Nobody thinks she is guilty because of those little things. And honestly only someone very self absorbed would interpret it to mean that they’re being personally insulted. Some of us have admitted to having the similar stuff in our houses or wearing similar stuff and going to those shops!! It’s not how anybody determined her guilt.
But actually, we are allowed to look at what she wears or her infantile bedroom etc and think about it. She dressed very differently to all my friends and myself when I was that age and she seemed to socialise with much older or more fuddy duddy types (soz Dawn and Janet ✌). If you watch the Allitt tapes, the detectives mention that she dressed differently to young women her own age too. It’s not at all an indicator of her guilt and you’re insulting people’s intelligence with that remark, but it isn’t out of the realms of discussion and you’d be best not to tell people off about it. Just ignore it if it upsets you. We’ve not been here 11 months because we think the kitten heels did it.

Her friend Daft Dawn said Lucy had always wanted to be a nurse to give back because her own birth was apparently difficult.

Bet her poor mum couldn’t push that massive chin out.
Yes and didn’t she also say that Lucy had said she was forever grateful to the nursing staff / doctors who saved her life? I’ve not speculated re motive but this was the first time I wondered if this fed into that in some way? If the babies were in a crash situation and she saved them, they’d be eternally grateful to her (and their parents would too?)

i think management knew there was hospital failings and didnt want this to come out in an investigation about lucy, more concerned on how they would look rather than these innocent babies

See this scapegoat theory it boils my piss.
it’s nonsense, it’s insulting to the families and all who worked on this case.
She’s a baby serial killer and the hospital tried to cover it up.
I honestly despair that people think she’s a scapegoat!

Some people seem to think that the fact that she wore kitten heels with socks is a sure sign of a "weirdo" and can obviously lead to murder her clothes have been discussed quite a bit along with her psycho eyes etc etc and the fact that she loves her cats all irrelevant to her murderous behaviour.
Heroin or whatever your name is. do you really think people have discussed her clothes here with any real seriousness? Come on now. Are you just ignoring the fact that all the actual evidence has been discussed is so much depth here. There are some really knowledgeable people here and it’s insulting to insinuate that they are basing there opinion off her appearance
