It happens a lot . My cousin is a nurse and the things she has done are questionable .
She has got her friend antibiotics god knows how .
She told her grandad wife that he was in hospital for the day after he collapsed at work and was told he had weeks to live after finding out he had cancer . She told his wife when She wasn’t his dedicated nurse in the hospital he didn’t even know that she knew . The whole family fell out with her as it caused him so much distress . He wanted to tell his wife himself

she has told me about people I know attending a n e and one was a male friend she told me he was attempting to commit suicide . Another was a male friend and she told he was on drugs and police attended

I told her it’s so wrong to tell people things like that . During COVID at the very start when it was really bad she was mixing wards . She visited her boyfriends grandad because family was not allowed to visit . She took it upon herself to visit him on the COVID ward on her break she then got COVID and visited my Nan . Not long after that my Nan died from COVID .

I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of your nan.
But that firstly isn't a friend nor decent family member, and secondly I'd be reporting this person.

I agree. Most killers (esp mass murderers) build up to their first kill. I’d be very surprised if there are no previous incidents that come to light.

If she is guilty, then I think these are the only cases they had sufficient evidence to charge - I don't doubt if she is guilty then there will most definitely have been incidents before but perhaps without any evidence to proceed.

If she is guilty, then I think these are the only cases they had sufficient evidence to charge - I don't doubt if she is guilty then there will most definitely have been incidents before but perhaps without any evidence to proceed.

Could also be that they have not finished reviewing all the cases in the 5 years she was there - maybe they just focused on 2015-16 as those were concerns flagged at the time. And maybe now they are investigating everything else?

Does anyone know - if she is found NG of these charges for 2015-16, would they be able to arrest her again at a later date for other cases in other years that come to light? Seems like that would be possible as they'd be separate charges but unsure.

There has to be. More will come out of Operation Hummingbird...this is just the first step for justice (whether LL is guilty or not).

Off topic but please report her to the NMC, she sounds a liability.

If she’s found guilty. There must have been previous victims. You don’t just walk on a tit and 18 minutes later decide to kill a child for the first time.

I’ve always been in the guilty camp and I think the funding of operation hummingbird is to then look further back after she’s convicted.

I think there will be a lot being said in court but the reporters are condensing it as much as possible.

She isn't qualified to prescribe medications, nor should she be stealing them from a NHS setting, she is putting people's lives as risk, she doesn't know if they have an allergy, addiction or are on medication that may counteract the medication she is so freely giving away.
Please also report her to the police and the trust she works for. All of these can be done anonymously and I would continue to do so until somebody listens.

Do we think the medical bits they are sharing now are still agreed facts, or just presenting the evidence relating to baby A and B?

It wasn't really that clear when they first said about agreed facts so this could still be info that both defence and prosecution agree on as factual and therefore unchangeable or untwistable?

They'll be showing evidence relating to the agreed facts - that the defence will have seen, requested additional info to prepare their own case.

It’s the name of the police investigation into the baby deaths at the hospital/Lucy Letby.

Wow! It's not easy to steal medication, everywhere I've worked has had regular pharmacy stock checks, you'd notice an entire course of antibiotics missing! Weve never even been able to sneak a couple of paracetamol when we've had a headache. Surely those working with her must have suspicions.

The double jeopardy law has been scraped now. She could, theoretically, be charged with these again, if found not guilty and new evidence came to light.
