Sorry, I'm definitely being dense but just wanted to check I'm understanding the naming but not naming them thing

So instead of saying 'saturations were dropping: Child A, C, D, G, H' in court what he's actually saying is the babies real names? (but those names can't be reported, which is why they're replaced with letters?). So he's actually saying 'saturations were dropping: Adam, Cara, Denise, Georgia, Hailey' (but their real names not fake names I just made up)? Think hearing it with their real names must make it even more gut wrenching.
I agree but I also think in a strange way, using their names brings humanity to it, recognition that these poor babies were real people with feelings and they were badly hurt by this bitch. I guess, as an onlooker, its easier to detach yourself from the reality when just initials were used. Maybe some comfort to the parents as well that their children are being recognised. The whole thing is just devastating for so many people. I don't have the words to describe what I think of Letby.

Has anyone read about the Paris Mayo case?

The Jury found her guilty of murder not of infantacide.

My uneducated opinion is I am not sure I could have done so. A 15 year old with a hectic life who had just given birth was sound of mind? I am not so sure. Terrible situation all round.

It just strikes me because we worry that one or two of jury will be lenient on letby whereas they were all clearly not lenient or allowed anything mitigating in the Paris case to go for murder. Clearly is terrible but not on the scale of letby.
Not sure what I am trying to say.
This is an awful case and I'm sure the girl is completely traumatised from it all (well I'd hope she is). However for me, with this case it's where she has already assaulted the baby so badly that he had skull fractures and brain damage but was not yet dead she then goes on to put cotton wool down his throat to kill him. It's the second act that would make me inclined to agree with the decision of the jury. Yes she may have been in all sorts of distress and such a state but she killed the baby, she tried once and when that didn't work she did further damage to ensure his death. Similar to the actions of Letby with multiple babies whom she repeatedly assaulted in order to murder. Once someone gets past the first heinous act and then goes on to try a different method that's it for me, it is murder.

This is coming across as ridiculous. One minute he is suggesting the doctors are wrong, incompetent and overworked and their testimonies have been twisted over time by the police and prosecution, then the next he suggests they were all in on it from the very start trying to stitch LL up and get her done!
How far does this scapegoating ring stretch?!
As wide as LL's after the Robocock 5000

I wonder if it’s worth directly reporting Dick the Prick to Chester police? Operation Hummingbird even? The parents and families should be protected from this cunt.
I asked my partner (who is police) whether I should. And he said Op Hummingbird will likely be monitoring Dickhead Dicky, but will be collecting it as evidence should he ever try for an appeal. Sort of like giving him enough rope to hang himself. Because they won't want to rock the boat and give him any publicity so close to the end of the trial. If the parents complain then yes, they will take it seriously. But they will be aware especially as he's tweeting politicians too.

ETA - I saw him admit on Twitter that even LL and her family haven't agreed to speak with him....Says it all really.

He’s not got a leg to stand on with any of this. So all the staff are incompetent and shit and it’s only LL who’s a good nurse, yet the only “good nurse” spends ages texting during patient care, has absolutely no tact or self awareness around grieving children, is present for every single crash or death, and most of all, if she’s super nurse and concerned about the ability of her colleagues why didn’t she open her mouth and say something? Why is she so desperate to stop any conversation about the deaths on that unit, any time a colleague alludes to anything being off she’s like lightning shutting it down. Why is this woman so calm, collected about these babies dying like they did, why will she not even speak about it to her colleagues. Cos she’s the one that’s done all of this, not her mates at work, not the floaters that won’t go down, not the 4 doctors. Her. Bore off BM

Honestly this man needs reporting to the police. He’s now admitting about knowing doctors in the Netherlands who euthanise babies, I can tell you that is not legal anywhere in the European Union, if the world.

…Or maybe the idiot just doesn’t know the difference between euthanasia and palliative care 🤔
They do, unless the laws changed.

Baby's with Downs Syndrome can be euthanized in the Netherlands.

The UK you can abort until the day before your due date.

That's just with DS. Not sure on the exact rules, I know everything I need to know about that bloody place 😪

Dan is reporting too. Bit more descriptive

Yeah. What about the parents though? They'll have to live with remembering what he's saying.
i have been in court having being assaulted, and my parents/I/anyone who wanted to listen had to hear from the defence how I was probably lying despite evidence, or I was likely ‘asking for it’. Worst experience of my life. But in contrast, if my child was wrongly accused of something they hadn’t done I would want there to be no question ‘unasked’.

What the Fuck is wrong with this guy????

I've been reading along for a while but this finally made me comment. Just Fuck the fucking Fuck off. And when you get there, Fuck off some more.
Tbh I think for him this whole this is 50% an ego massage and 50% the beginning of a massive grift set up. Mark my words, very soon you’ll start seeing links pop up to gofundme’s and crowdfunders to ‘help free Lucy’. Can see it coming a mile off.

To digress.
The fbookers are saying that BNE’s assertion that baby L received double the dose of insulin to that given to baby F is not the case.
Obviously doubling the dose would show intent to kill.
I’ve looked at the WIKI figures and the don’t, at face value, but then there are no units of measurement to evaluate differences.
What’s happening??View attachment 2267342
There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the units for the insulin due to poor reporting, but I believe that the units reported for insulin for child L are in mIU/L and F are in pmol/L. I checked how they perform the immunoassays for insulin and c-peptide at the Liverpool Hospital (which is where the sample was analyzed), and on their site and on the UKAS site, they say they do it using this device, the Cobas e601.

According to the manufacturer who makes this machine, it’s upper detection limit for insulin is 1000 mU/L (equivalent to 6945 pmol/L).

Dr Anna Milan said that the reading for baby L the result was ‘so high it was at the top of the scale the equipment was capable of measuring’, which suggests that the 1099 value recorded is in mIU/L, as 1000 mIU/L is the highest concentration that the machine can record. If we assume that the reading for baby F was given in pmol/L, then 4657 pmol/L is equal to 776 mIU/L (or 670 mIU/L which is the old conversion factor, it recently changed). So it’d make sense as to why NJ said that the reading for the insulin conc was higher for baby L than in baby F.

It’s really confusing and the poor reporting hasn’t helped, but hopefully this will be clarified tomorrow and it is BM who is confused with the units and that’s why he thinks the prosecution have got it wrong, rather than NJ being confused.

I know it’s a horrible topic but the fact they’re going down the route of “she’s not guilty cos she didn’t Google her methods” is so joke to me

Sorry, just catching up, but I can't believe BM is still wanging on about babies in NNUs are basically gonna die anyway... It's absolute bullshit. I've worked adjacent to NNUs in 4 counties for 8 years now and do you know how many babies we've lost in that time (although granted I'm not on the units, so I don't see everything)? Five (and they do stay with you, I remember their names and light candles for them on baby loss day). I've seen 22 weekers go home, it's bloody ridiculous. I hope the jury aren't taken in by this rubbish.

OK guys saddle up this is the ramblings of an autistic, tired zombie (me)

There's a programme on cbeebies called what's in your bag? And the different people always have a profession eg vet doctor etc and show what they bring to work (bit silly as all that stuff would be in the workplace but meh) and all I could think of is imagine Letby on that show!!!!! What's in your bag??

- suction cup dildo special edition
- 250 handover sheets
- blood gas tissue situation (unsure how to word that)
- post it notes with wild scribblings
- a freddo
- Lee cooper tracksuit(just incase)
-a live laugh love Lucy poster
-salsa pamphlets to encourage ppl in work to join
-ibiza tacky memorabilia such as keyrings and coasters
What did I forget 🤣

BNE has done all the babies and their families proud. He's done all he can now.
Will be interesting to hear BM's closing speech next. Hopefully it's short and sweet.

I genuinely think a lot of her defenders do not see these babies as human. Dickbead Gill clearly doesn't with how he speaks about them, ignoring the evidence that each one was a little fighter until the end because it gets in the way of his rose tinted view of LL. In their eyes, because these babies are in a neonatal unit, clearly they're on death row, suffering, needing putting out of their misery.

In my career I see so many babies and parents come through the office doors - recently I had a woman tell me her baby was in the neonatal unit, not because she was particularly poorly, but because she was ten weeks early and just needed that time and nurturing to grow with a close eye on her. I immediately thought of how the mother was putting her trust in the team at my city's neonatal unit, the same trust that the parents of Letby's victims will have put in her, utter faith that their baby was in the right place.

Dick saying that babies basically die all the time and those who don't stand a chance (says the statistician sucking fervently on his own dick who is clearly qualified to speak on medical matters...) is nothing less than utterly callous. I'm sick.

Really? Also I know the law on abortion here if you find you have a baby with say a life threatening heart condition they ask if you want to terminate at any stage of pregnancy… gosh. But I’d never heard of that before. So sad.
Yes, there was a BBC documentary in 2015 or 2016 called A World without Downs, it was discussed on there. I found it quite distressing being the mum of a little lad with an extra chromosome, its unimaginable to me.

As I say, they may have changed the laws but I most definitely will not be blessing Holland with our presence any time soon 🙃
