I'd never thought of that before. It's true some of them may have doubts. It's such an weird situation. I don't have children so it's hard for me to put myself in their shoes. Even so to even think about harming a baby is beyond comprehension.
What in the basic duck is a Lee Cooper Lounge Suit??!!!
I was listening to the latest podcast earlier and they said ‘Nick Johnson’ and I had to stop and think for a minute, who’s that? Ohhhhhh BNE!
My thoughts re Operation Hummingbird and this window they are focusing on. I know it’s been discussed a lot but I’m almost certain that once this case is over, there’s going to be many more charges heading her way.
I think she’s always been a bit sick and a sadist. I think she’s probably inflicted pain on babies on a regular basis ever since qualifying. I think her methods probably varied but didn’t cause enough disruption for it to become an issue wherever she was working.
I think Baby A came, unfortunately for them, not long after LL had more knowledge of air embolus and she was testing out her methods. Murder may not have been her original aim but I think she got a kick from the buzz it gave her, the attention off other staff, and the pain she inflicted on the parents. From then on in, only murder would do to give her that high again. And I think that’s why they’ve focussed on that period of time (June 2015-July 2016) where she was arguably at her worst.
But I am also almost certain that, out of those 250 odd notes on babies, the majority will have had some kind of injury or unexplained illness or episode in hospital. She could potentially have another 200 charges of attempted murder or gbh heading her way.

bleeping knew NN was married. His insipid texts gave me the same level of ick I had when I found my ex's pathetic little love notes to his side pieces. I hope his wife is long gone, and took the kids he was willing to entrust to a baby killer with her.
Something I have found quite interesting, when LL was out having drinks etc, she thought it was over. HA. she was lulled into a false sense of security. Karma. I bet she slept like a log. Until she was dragged out of her house in her "pjamas" of course.
BM will be frantically contacting the stats guy & the scientists after the sympathy note draft for a still alive baby!!
When I did jury service had been deliberating around 1.5 days (was only a 3 day trial) but we still weren't unanimous. Judge called us back, we told him we didn't all agree, so he sent us away and told us to come back once we had a majority (which we did). We went back to our deliberation room, told the usher we had our decision and was called back into court really quickly - within about 15 minutes.
Given a case like this I imagine once the Jury has notified the usher they have reached a verdict, the amount of notice will be as long as it takes to get everyone back in the courtroom which could be a fair while considering the number of victims, the amount of press etc that are there. Could be 3 hours if LL has been sent back to her prison cell and she has to make the trip back to court.

He would absolutely not lie in court, its more than his career and the trial are worth. There has clearly been a mistake in what was agreed as evidence. It would not be BM's job to check the agreed evidence with her, it will have been her solicitors, likely a legal exec who did that kind of work that isn't drafting legal documents per se. I can easily see how the mistake has been made. It shouldn't have been made, but in the circumstances of hundreds of thousands of pieces of paper, yep.
Appeal grounds are complex, a mistake made could be grounds but only if affected certain aspects of the trial. I'm not sure about this particular mistake but I would think not.
I think they'd want to strangle the living bleeping daylights out of the lying slimy twit. They've been through so much and kept their decorum. I think I'd have lost it big time

This isn't a go at you, my emotions are all over the place after the past couple of days.
I also wonder if BM wanted to strangle Lucy when he was trying to give her a get out of jail card earlier but all she did was continue with her lies. Surely if he addresses something again during rebuttal, as LL you’d think you maybe need to wonder what he’s getting at and try and help him, not just give the same answer you gave to BNE?

Wowza, the sympathy note. I’m sorry, if anyone can think she is innocent after hearing that, along side her admitting she actually lied for sympathy from the jury they need their heads testing. The evidence was already strong imo, this has just completed it for me. The fact she clearly planned to murdered that 3rd baby, to DRAFT a sympathy card for them is vile and this can’t be explained away by being “innocent”.
Also, that annoymous FB poster can go do one. I imagine they are also pretty angry with those who allowed LL to continue working once the concern had been raised. Those who failed to protect those babies from her are just as culpable. IMO

I think there will be if she is convicted. I've only known them to be given during sentencing.
You’ve made a very very good point here. She was searching a parent from Liverpool women’s from her training, I think she did that search in 2015 or 2016 but had trained at LWH years before. She thinks it’s a get out clause to say “itS NaTUraL bEhaViouR” for me but think about it. Like she says, she’s treated hundreds and hundreds. So how on Earth does she remember the names of parents from that long ago. And it’s not cos they’re significant? It’s just who’s on her mind apparently. She is able to do it because she has their names to hand. She rifles through. She will remember things she did. She will get a kick out of it.That was me, I read somewhere that her defense say that she searched for many parents not involved in this case. I couldn't understand how she could remember so many names but it would be easy if you have a bag full of paperwork under your bed with them on.
This will be why op hummingbird is still ongoing and recently expanded to review the medical notes of every baby on every one of those sheets that she had.
The thought that there could be more victims is horrifying

She refers to the babies and their families as ‘that’ not ‘who’. She can’t even speak about them as people, instead of objects. I thought she was verbally articulate. This slippage is revealing how she views them.
