I was never a Jiberty fan, I felt she was incredibly bland and brought nothing to the show and he was playing a game.
Since their departure I’ve completely changed my mind. She was playing a game and he looks worn out and battered. He looked totally down and fed up last week, with all the islanders throwing in their point of view and Faye being vile as always.
I hope LI will show him duty of care as I think he will need it more than anyone.

I’d like them to do 2 villas with like a casa/switch mid way through the series (but for atleast a week or 2 so people actually get to know other people) and then merge into 1 villa after that

Do they though? Liberty had gotten a big following but she’s not going to be memorable in a weeks time. Faye tried to be Olivia from Kems season and it failed miserably. The ones that go in with a game plan seem to do the worst bar maybe Maura.
Next series I’d like more mid-late rather than early 20s contestants and challenges that are actual couple activities rather than weird soft porn children’s party games.
Yeah the younger they are the more bland they seem. I think it should be 24+.
I like the speed dating idea someone suggested. People getting to know eachother before coupling up.

yeah the islanders this season failed at this but they still had a persona they wanted to be, like hugo trying to be dr alex but failing cause the viewers didn’t really like him towards the end, lucinda defo wanted to be the next molly mae, liberty is trying to go for the amy route (independent girl vibes)
that just makes the show so boring now
This! No wonder she knew that Jake was copying Kem with the bracelet he gave Amber - Faye was very familiar considering she herself was copying Olivia. I said ages ago that Jake and Faye are very alike in that they manipulate the narrative to stir the pot.
Liam had told Brad from the start that he was looking forward to CA so he is not as innocent as Millie seems to think either.

My idea for future 100% is that bombshells should not be allowed to watch before they go in. Ideally have them in isolation so no outside influence. Currently they beeline for who they think is popular and it can be so contrived. I don't think the public ever really buy into them because of this.
I think it would also mean bombshells wouldn't be scared to go for the 'established' couples - they also wouldn't know who is/isn't popular outside.

Changes I would suggest for next year if I was a Love Island producer reading this thread
- Minimal scouting from Instagram, look at the actual applicants, not the Insta Huns.
- Slightly older cast, minimum age 24/25
- No gross food challenges/ kissing challenges!
- Bring back the tweet challenges and family skyping in when there's drama to give their opinion
- No more of this "stepping forward" crap on the first day, give them 48 hours to get to know each other than let them couple up.
- Actual interesting people in Casa Amor, 75% of them are always forgettable.
- More Irish people, and yes I'm biased on that.
- Open the vote up to Ireland too. Weird that you let a whole country watch and not vote.
- Change the format on voting, give the islanders immunity twice over the season so they can save a bottom two couple but otherwise the one with the least public votes is going home.
- More votes that split couples during the season with the option to walk together if they want to.
- Scrap the presenter altogether. The only time it's needed is during the first episode anyways and if they changed that format you could go the whole season without. Maybe Maya Jama for the final/ aftersun or someone equally fresh.
- Also sorry to say but Iain hasn't done it for me this year. Change it up and I reckon the show would be fresher.

I noticed lib Aaron Brett and priya are together on the plane, I reckon Jake and Mary are sat together.

I’m really trying to muster some excitement for the final but it’s just dead to me. Which is such a shame because I used to love this show.
