I think Tommy is used to attention from women so because molly wasnāt hanging on his every word, he didnāt like it. Then along comes Maura throwing herself at him and thatās why his head turned. He just wants someone to be paying him endless compliments. But Iām hoping he chooses molly over Maura coz Maura is acting like a dog in heat!!

Maura I think is definitely from the ātravelling communityā the language and crassness she comes out with it shameless. But letās face it sheās in there for airtime and to get the most out of it as she can (boohoo, teeth whitening, skinny coffee deals ects) Tommy is sweet but thereās not much substance to him heās great to look at but you would get bored after a while he canāt hold a proper conversation.
Curtis is playing the game and know what to do for the pass to the final. To be fair I donāt mind him even though I donāt think heās that into Amy. Amy showed her true colours this week with Lucie who I feel quite sorry for sheās out of her depth in thereās I think.
Anton is now one of my favourites after hating him at the beginning.

OOOOOh FINALLY I can read the latter half of this thread and discuss. I've been waiting for it to come to Hulu so I can watch in the US and I was bursting, so I found some bootleg links and here I am.
Well... an interesting season so far, only seen up till ep 11.
-I can honestly say I liked Amy within the first couple of minutes ( after the forced intro that is) and that that hasn't changed. I also like Curtis and think his advice is sound and I've been impressed by the way his head doesn't turn and quickly he friend zoned Molly. At this current state, I wouldn't mind if they were the winners tbh. BUT, I do get concerned that either A. Amy will worry too much about Curtis's level of commitment ( because he was never wrong to have said what he did to her when she was all upset about Lucie and Joe then changed her story to being upset about "coming on too strong") or B. His head will eventually be turned and he'll turn out to be a dick. All I know is last season, Dr. Alex even made a few major dick moves imo and I wasn't pleased. So I'm bearing in mind that even the gent can pull some tit. Also I think he might not be as into her nowadays as he was before, and that underneath it he does still want a hotter piece like the rest of them.
-I miss Callum. I liked him a lot. He wasn't boring at all with the right person. Was mad at Amber telling him his sunglasses didn't suit him, he has a very good face for glasses, so that dig was unnecessary. Also love his accent, and it's great for my dialect studies course. Come back Callum.
-I want Yewande to find someone nice and I just don't think she has yet. Danny doesn't seem like it. I think she'll stay in for quite a while yet and if she's supposed to be this years Samira, well, I like her a lot more. I think she's genuinely nice and is looking for the right things.
-Amber hasn't grown on me yet like she has for many here. I DO like her bluntness and the fact that she isn't going to take tit or be humiliated. I like that she stands up for herself. Her arrogance, not so much. I've missed a few bits, but as long as she doesn't brag about being a diva and tit like that again, she'll probably grow on me.
- Lucie pissed me off MAJORLY for the first 6 episodes at least and I just couldn't even stand the sight of her. Honestly didn't understand why guys'd be willing to break an actual leg jumping over pools, tables, balconies and all sorts to get to her. But now she's back with Joe, she's a little more subdued and isn't on with the cringe slang. When they're not playing her up, she's not actually that bad, and she's growing on me. Joe on the other hand... once a baby, still a baby.. so many red flags, his tantrum. He was more emotional than Eyal for heavens sake.
- Molly is annoying and reminds me of a slightly less infuriating Georgia, but I still don't care for her. She's good for some drama right now. I don't think she's as justified as she feels going at Tommy in such a way. She's dragging everyone into it and having a come apart so openly when she could have sorted it between the two of them and is making herself look silly because all the sudden she cares so much about him.
- Maura... holy... hell... I dislike her. I'm sure she's there for this reason exactly. She'll never grow on me. Her IG ( I'm sure others have said it somewhere here) might as well be an account linked to a p*rn site. Honestly. And the look on her face like she is just living to stir tit and taunt people is just gross. That shot of her going to bed and looking at Molly, it's like she's looking to emotionally hurt some of the females in there and it's just not ok with me. She seems vile. Tommy revealed his true nature by being interested in such a girl, and I was pissed at Curtis for having seen her IG and trying to get in touch. Ew Curtis, and take those sandals off, you look like you're in the Westlife "Fool Again" video.

Im warming to Anton too. I reckon in his normal life he has girls throwing themselves at him but in the villa he has so much competition that it's knocked his confidence. I hope he finds someone soon bless his cringey skinny jeans lol

Seems heavy handed, they should have just called him in straight after the comment (as it seems like that was what did it) and go him to clarify that it wasn't hateful etc. But we didn't see the footage and never will.
They're just worried about campaigns to get love island off air and people targeting Samsung or the plethora of other companies that sponsor it.
I doubt Molly would have gone if the situation was reversed.

I have never been a fan of Love Island TBH. Unfortunately I was āattackedā in another thread on this site where I said I was glad the subject of that thread said she didnāt seem to be feeling the show anymore even though she raved about it in the past.

I agree on tommy and lucie, deffo still something there between them two but also Michael and amber maybe? They took their time to get to know each other and it just seems genuine to me
