My brother in law has just been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Been operated and had rounds of chemo and radiotherapy. 2 weeks later the tumour has grown back. Only around 1% of patients survive this cancer. The hospital have sent him home to spend time with his family whilst undergoing treatment. He is 39 years old. He has not been told directly that he is terminal but we all know he is. Let’s hope that Johns treatment is successful and he recovers or it gives him a few more year.
I think that John will be giving Lorna extra encouragement now to make more money so she is secure if anything happens. He needs to be living Every day like it’s his last hence why he has been attending all these trips with her recently. It’s all very sad.

It’s the first time since I’ve been on here where we’ve had such a debate. Everyone is so friendly so love to you all! She’s bullshitting. Like most people are saying she’s dramatising for content and sympathy for her! We all hope he’s ok. To say she’s pissed off is the most ridiculous and selfish statement!
I have to say if John were my husband, I would be devastated, socialising and posting it on IG would be the last thing on my mind. So her actions do make me a tad suspicious. I am sure the brands she works with would allow her some time to spend with John to absorb the results and moving forward, after all they do know him as he gets invited on every press trip.

I don’t agree re John giving extra encouragement to Yawna to make more money .. he’s bound to have a will and his work pension . She’s already got a£2m house, a flat, numerous designer handbags, but having said that they never seem satisfied with what they’ve got and always want more but when they get more it satisfies them up until the IG post then it’s not enough and once again they want more . Want more . Want more . FFS if she was so invaluable to the brands that she promotes I can’t believe they wouldn’t let her have a few months break . But then what would Queen Baby do without the attention ??
He’s always attended her trips but only recently been allowed to be noticed,Before that he’s had to wait outside in the car ..
TBH she’s tried but shes no high end luxe influencer like Hannah Stafford Taylor . She’s now 40 and lost in a tragic world .. I don’t mean cancer I mean her WOS designs .
So once again .imo . all these recent trips, etc are sadly not for The Raisin but simply to big herself up and gain the sympathy vote .

The whole announcement, the trips just seem calculated for her own content.
I also agree if you know you’ve not got long you’d want to do all the exciting things. However, the last I’d want to do is hang out with other vacuous influencers for the sake of a gram and a free add trip.
But hey I guess that’s what they like.
They knew before this trip but didn’t say anything as they knew it wouldn’t look great going after bad news.
I think they’ve always known the prognosis is bad which explains all the trips/drinking/smoking, I can’t begrudge John doing what he wants if he knows it won’t make a difference to his outcome. It’s just a bit sad that he’s having to do it on paid ad trips with hanger ons who probably wouldn’t give a tit if they weren’t on the WOS pay roll.
Also cancer is bleeping tit so I can see why their behaviour has caused some visceral reactions.
I too think they’ve known for a while, hence the posting with the news then straight away posting about their trip.

My mum died of this cancer, hers was inoperable but she died of the complications rather than the tumour.
I’m not sure why she used the word remission last year - I thought for remission you needed to be out of the woods for a lot longer.
