I really feel for her. To go from a (well, seemingly) idyllic life with a childhood sweetheart, buying a lovely house, having a dream wedding and a beautiful baby … to becoming a single mother, living alone with her young child and trying to balance work and maintaining her value as an influencer with caring for him... Its a level of emotional upheaval I can’t even comprehend. She’s not even 30 years old.

Tbh I don't really feel sorry for her and am quite jealous that her life is pretty cushty

The handbook suddenly launching in paperback is a bit random isn’t it? Three years later? And it’s taken her a week to promote it. I always get the impression her heart isn’t really in anything she does.

Yes, that's true, and I guess they must be on relatively good terms if they went through with the holiday knowing that a split was imminent. It's all rather sad (if true) and I hope she's doing OK behind the scenes. She did allude to some hard times in her August 8th IG post; it seems this is mostly to do with her health but maybe she had some other stuff going on too. She talks about her friends wrapping her in cotton wool.

Yes - I remember clocking an Insta post from Spring about needing ‘kind, gentle love’ and it was a carousel of photos from her weekend featuring her son, her dog and her friends. Nothing definitive of course but with everything else in the mix it did add up.

Her son was only born early 2021 so she’s been through a lot. If there are any hairline cracks in your relationship having a baby can really blow them wide open

Did her friends say that her character has changed in recent years?

If you follow a certain few of her other friends (creators) and other similar-ish creators, there are some that I have been told by again, other creators that aren’t very nice including to creators who have less followers than them and so on. I would love to list all names and give the stories I’ve heard but don’t want to doxx myself and I suppose people can change and may not be the same character they were some years ago.

It wasn’t any of Olivia’s close friends who said anything regarding her character, just at this particular event they seemed to be discussing amongst themselves/exchanging looks regarding her and Joe’s snobbish and distant behaviour from everyone else. Those friends (again they are also YouTubers/bloggers/instagrammers) are more or less still friends with her online and some very close irl.

I do wonder if that side of her manifested from being unhappy and possibly controlled in some ways by Joe in that relationship over the years. Or maybe she truly isn’t as she seems online and in fact is a bit of a snob and a b’itch. Obviously can’t say for certain. But I just don’t like her at all since then and just been put off. Well, put off by quite a few creators from that crew.

The thing is it's Joe's sister's wedding, and Joe photographed at least part of the night for them. The absence of Joe in photos and her in his photos seems incredibly obvious.

I really like Liv, she seems very sweet but the fact she is wearing nearly £900 of gifted items in her last picture really annoys me - the companies gifting to these “influencers” piss me off and would deter me from buying from them! Not the other way around! And I am sure her beautiful wedding dress was gifted too £4K+!

I don’t know what’s happened with our Liv but she is so adorable and I am loving her content. Yes I will never be able to afford some of the places she is gifted to go but I’m feeling like she is going through a process of finding herself.

It is fast! They’re not even together two years and she was only just out of a long term relationship. I always thought Liv came across as sensible, obviously not!

Looks like they celebrated their year anniversary in April - so day 1 to co-home ownership within 19 months.. yep, fast!

I’m always curious about what influencers like Liv earn (outside of eBay anyway). How much would Sezane have paid for that ad post?

She'll have made several thousand from that, easily. Smaller influencers like her aren't the ones getting like £20k per post, but for someone with an established brand like Liv they'll still pay a fair bit of money. That combined with never having to pay for trips and getting freebies also makes your money go a lot further.

I feel like I remember several instances of Maggie being quite poorly and needing a lot of care, maybe having Arlo on her own (as she appears to most of the time) plus a dog with complex health needs was too much.

I wonder though… in her Q&A today she says Arlo gets into bed with ‘me’ rather than ‘us’ and her answer about raising a boy makes no reference to Joe as his dad or what they might to together (e.g. not set household roles by gender) which I find a little weird? Granted the point of the Q&A is that it’s from her perspective but it feels a little deliberate. I would be willing to bet she got at least one question about Joe (although she doesn’t owe anyone any information she doesn’t want to share)

I agree she doesn’t. It’s not really our business and we need to respect that. At least she doesn’t feel sorry for herself and complain when times are tough.

Liv seems to be showing more and more of Arlo’s face on her Instagram lately, which surprises me - not sure why she even attempts to hide parts of it now, as she’s not covering his face enough to keep him anonymous.

I've never followed Liv but just looked as she was mentioned on the Hannah Gale thread. She seems like a sweet person from glancing through her IG. I just googled her wedding pics though and there is an odd vibe - they don't look like a couple in love. She looks way more comfortable with her friends.

I think Liv is one of the more tolerable influencers but she goes sooo hard on the "I'm so uncool tho, listen to my dad jokes" sort of image I'm assuming in an effort to be relatable but it is getting a bit old lol. She did it in a story again a week or so ago in the ad she did with Carrie for triumph and in the IG story it was talking about the underwear and I can't remember exactly but was something along the lines of "well they're not as supportive about my dad jokes but neither is Carrie tbh!" I remember being like what that doesn't even make any sense lol.

Agree. I generally like Liv and her Insta stories and posts, she has lovely style (even if her clothes are a little out of my price range!). But she goes too hard on the “I’m so not cool” vibe. Constantly mentioning her dad jokes and being a “Nan”. I think she’s afraid of offending people too as there’s a lot of stories where she’ll voice and opinion and says something like “not that there’s anything wrong with that of course”. Have an opinion and own it!

I do feel a bit proud of her however for persevering with her driving though.
