I really just don't think Perrie socialises at all outside the pain in the arse twins and the cling on cousin. I don't think it's any shade or reflection on her relationship with the girls, I just think she's probably anxious in any social setting unless it's her absolute closest pals. I do personally think it's crappy not making the effort for an event so big, but I'm sure it's still all fine between them. Leigh will know her well enough now to know this is Perrie's way.

Also the song is crap. Radio bop sure but totally forgettable and a rubbish debut. Although 100000000 times better than Jesy so there's that.

The video was much better than I expected tbh
I think the song is radio friendly

I’m interested to see how it’ll do. I’m skeptical but it’s just pleasant to see her giving it a bash without the need to find collabs, or shading others.

Also nice to see the Little Mix accounts actively promoting her and I hope the same energy is there for Perrie and Jade, because it feels really refreshing to see

Perrie just seems to keep to herself and not be interested in going to events or parties. I'm the same so I don't judge.

The song is shite but still better than anything Jesy has done.

@hol20x im the same, and sometimes with kids it does change your energy and how much you want to socialise. I love my mates but I cannot be fucked with invites to anything

I have to agree unfortunately. She's not bad, plenty good, but just doesn't have that extra. If she didn't come from a group and already have a fan base I can't see her getting signed as a solo off the bat. I know the fans go ape-tit for you to say so, but it's just life. I agree she should focus on movies because I think she'd do well there.

Completely. She doesn't have that solo star flair and she lacks star quality on her own. It all seems a bit basic ??? Compared to someone like Jade who I think will smash it solo

I see it having a decent first week due to all the LM fans buying multiple copies but I cannot see it holding up in coming weeks, unless the label spend ££££ on radio play and Spotify playlists

agree, she seems to think she is some high fashion celeb as well and she rarely gets a look right.

Also agree- she does lack that certain ‘star quality’ that would make someone stand out as a performer

It’s exactly what someone else further up said, catchy and a good summer vibe but could be released by anyone, Leigh Anne doesn’t make it any more special than anyone else would have . I hope it gets her a few new subscribers etc so the stuff she releases down the line has more chance of success.

Also noticed it’s only 59p on iTunes ? A good ploy by the label there

I mean.. it's alright.. I can see it being stuck in people's heads if its played on the radio enough.

Tbh I'm sick of videos which are just looks and scenes.. rather than meaning and maybe a bit of a story. Like what is the song about to her?. It's just different shots of her.

The video is very tedious, it's just look how pretty I am. Sure, she really is, but where's the relevance to the song? It very much gives me vibes of trying to mimic Beyonce/Rihanna

i really liked little mix the songs were fire!.... but please don't hate me but being black myself i felt for leigh-anne but i always got the impression fans 'overlooked her' not due to her skin but the fact she can't really sing that well! i saw them live and omgosh she was BAD

jessie is a twit but she can sing for sure she's just not nice imo. Jade and Perrie are amazing singers and have the right feel for a solo artist.

I honestly think they are all gonna flop tbh and then either fade into oblivion or come back as a group in however many years. I think Jade has the best chance because her personality could carry her. Don't get me wrong I think both her and Perrie are vocally strong enough to make a go of it but unless they've got good teams behind them (which so far it doesn't sound like it) I'm just not sure. It's hard to go solo after a band. As much as Simon C is a twit, he knows his stuff and he put them in a band for a reason.

I think if Perrie wanted it, she could be the breakout of the group. But I just don't get the vibe from her that she REALLY wants it. There was an article that came out this week talking about how she is still recording, so I think we're a bit off from getting anything from her.
