Is Lily doing an undisclosed ad? Sigh, to anyone that want to save money, hand cream is just body lotion. But go ahead to treat yourself, but essentially body lotion yeah
Report it to asa. They give a tit.

Lily’s hands and nails always look so unkempt even with nail polish on. I work as a librarian by day handling older dusty material, dry paper. At night and weekends I’m a printmaker and regularly mix a lot of ink, also not so kind to hands. Despite all of this my hands never look so rough and ragged like hers.
What an excellent mix!

I don’t know….I think she’s desperately doing an unpaid “ad” for a product she received in PR because nobody’s throwing any work her way and she wants to appear busy… but you never know with lily. Also, I’m blown away by her OG creativity. Who woulf have thought to have a close up of rubbing lotion into hands for a hand lotion ad…
Message the brand and find out if it’s an advert? I believe they have to tell you.

I think the hand cream content is more about plugging space nk rather than the product. Especially considering you can get nursem in boots. Maybe space nk threatened to revoke Lily’s influencer discount card lol or she is angling for a PR package from them or a job. She’s too stingy to dish out free content without an ulterior motive and a hand cream is low hanging fruit.

Why does she always draw attention to herself ‘working?’ And it’s soooo specialised and difficult
Mentions of a ‘job’
How long a video /reel takes to edit
Camera out
Time lapses of her editing or sitting at her laptop
Etc

Do other influencers do this?

I’ve got a feeling her dad/family have taken the loss out of her for her job at some point and she always feels she has to justify it.

It might be just me, but I feel like the younger generations are less snobby about supermarkets and like to shop in both Aldi and Waitrose. I certainly do. I don't care that Aldi and Lidl are viewed as cheap, they have some amazing products, just like Waitrose do.
As someone from the country were Aldi and Lidl come from, and disclaimer- I do shop there myself too- they have an atrocious profile compared to other more expensive supermarkets. They are cheap for a reason. They don’t pay farmers as well, obviously the meat comes from horrible conditions, they don’t pay staff as well/give less benefits, they are massive chains with the power to cut corners and pressure producers for lower…… not everything is bad and the taste and for some things quality is not worse than with others but those discounters are part of a bigger problem.
Lidl especially has a history of treating its employees extremely bad here (there was quite the scandal a couple of years ago).
So, I don’t think making a point in not shopping there is problematic. Just as I can shop there while being aware of the more problematic side (I mean I also buy fast fashion- even though my purchases last way longer than sustainable, ethical, expensive influencer investment pieces- even though I know it is perpetuating horrible working conditions and bad for the environment. And even though I probably could afford not to.). But I also don’t get my knickers in a twist if someone makes a point in avoiding them for whatever reason. Feeling better than shopping there is not that problematic compared to most of the other tit they do. It’s a bit entitled but yeah…..

While I get your reasons for not wanting to shop there, these influencers choose not to shop there because it’s not “fancy” like Waitrose. It’s very different.

How exciting guys she’s off for a day at kings cross… the best part of London with its chain stores and restaurants and it’s millions of people who have to commute places!

These influencers aren’t that deep lol, they don’t want to be in Lidl because they think that is where all the commoners shop.

Back in the day, you would never admit that! This Coal Drops Yard, gentrification thing, is full of boring influencers. They eat some sort of Asian food, cinnamon buns and overpriced coffee. Their houses are all Ikea show rooms, and they dress like pensioner tourists from a remote European island. Dull as feck.

Oh no no no, Lily is very snobbish about supermarkets. Or anything, really.
Yeah for sure, she's very snobbish about a lot of things and her views are very old fashioned. Her approach to supermarkets is not young at all.

That's interesting. They have a much better reputation here in UK and pay above minimum wage and offer better benefits than most other supermarkets. The only thing that remains the same is quality of meat and the conditions the animals are kept in. In UK Waitrose has the best welfare standards for animals and you can really the tell difference in quality.

It's the only thing she has left now that the reno is over, and she refuses to be 'a mummy vlogger'. (eventhough she posts lots of child related content)
