I try to avoid talking about 'them' on here because it must be boring for anyone who isn't ex DS but I am absolutely astonished to read that 'Colin from Windsor' claims his soon to be 17 years old twin girls have MACE for their protection.

What an absolute idiot. If that is true then the number of very serious offences that are being committed is astounding not least that carrying Mace in UK is regarded as a firearm and carries the same penalties. He's either blatantly lying or an imbecile.

Taking it back to LBC is was an interesting discussion James had about the 888 number. Personally I don't think it will work and will be impossible to police properly. It's no quicker than dialling 999 if you seriously think you're in danger. One contributor from reclaim the streets confused me though. They said it wouldn't work because by time you've called 888 you could be dead/assualted. I thought the idea was to inform 888 of your journey as you set off? Obviously dial 999 if you think there is imminent danger. 🤷‍♀️
I'd go with (bigoted) imbecile tbh.

Yes, I saw that as well. If only we knew where he lived a quiet tip-off might do the trick !!

With the 888 or 999 service, if it is to be used while you are being attacked, it is the same as someone suggested elsewhere asking the attacker to hold on while you ring the police !

I remember "Colin from Windsor" posting that his daughters had MACE before. I thought it was just his usual rubbish and was unaware about the legality of it.

Also I was listening to Iain Dale earlier with his "panel" and he makes a good fist of it. Even those he does not agree with are given time to make their point. He is a strength for LBC I think.

I'm getting really sick of Rachel Venables following these Insulate Britain protestors around.

I get the feeling she's just doing it now because she's waiting/hoping for it to all kick off properly with some motorists so she's there to 'report' it.

It's clearly at Nick Ferrari's request, as the protesters are one of his peeves.

Just been watching footage of it on Twitter. The police seem to have given up and are leaving it to outraged motorists to deal with these pests. I must say they're doing a far better job! The protesters appear to be mostly pensioners. I suppose it makes a change from watching Cash in the Attic.

Surely LBC should send along their own Insulate Britain supporter James O'Brien so he can give the lorry and car drivers some of his "deep thinking". I suspect he would end up deep in something else...
By the way has he mentioned today's strong UK economic growth figures?

I don't see the sense in doing these protests on the motorway which the normal, average day person uses. Why not do this outside no.10 gates or something? Where it will problem the politicians in charge. I swear these people might be mentally sick.

O'brien doesn't know where to sit on the Saudi Arabian takeover of the Newcastle football club.
"I'm feeling discombobulation"
This is usually code for I'll see which way the wind is blowing...general consensus of the fanbase etc
Even worse for James O'Brien are the rumours that Frank Lampard will be the new manager. The same Frank who told him this.

"What I’d like you to do in future is think when it becomes the personal issues, about people’s families, about people’s kids, and you’re degrading them as human beings.

I grade myself as a human being as how I look after my kids.

I have to wake up and then listen to idiots like you say ‘I read this and this is what he is doing’.

And it is wrong.

But I have to put up with it and I keep my mouth shut.

But, today, the only reason I ring you is because my sister is distressed and as I said to you earlier it is the anniversary of my mum's death.

Do you think my sister needs to hear idiots like you saying it on the radio station?"

Awoke to the dulcet tones of Steve singing the intro to 'Tears of a Clown'
This will be an earworm all day now :D

'Mama Italia' - copyright @Pat the Dog, has re-entered the LBC clubhouse after self imposed exile/flouncing off 'I think I'm done here', a couple of weeks ago. 😁

Just had the misfortune to catch the first few minutes of Jobby's morning diatribe. Blimey, he's really got it in for Ferrari (without mentioning his name, of course) He should watch it. If it came to management having to make a choice, I'm pretty sure who would - to borrow one of his favourite expressions - be getting their sandwiches wrapped in a road map.

Nice timing Bobby I hope that you like our Nick Ferrari super fan Colin were agog with excitement for this morning's Sajid Javid interview.

As for James O'Brien he was cackling away to himself pre the 10 am news and laughing at his own jokes. Meanwhile at the back his mind.
1. Even he must realise his support for Insulate Britain has been a disaster.
2. How is his view that the EU would never change policy on Northern Ireland going?

Anyone questioning why Boris and his gang were voted in so overwhelming needs to remind themselves that this was the alternative ...

Sir Keir has his work cut out and I'm not sure he's up to the job. He's a great Civil Servant (a bit like Theresa May) but not a party leader.

The likes of JOB seem to forget that for many people there was no choice.

Not only JOB as look at this which is breath taking, Whataboutery is live and kicking

Fortunately most voters saw straight through all the Whataboutery. But where Labour goes now is a real problem I think.

"Just as I'm turning 50"
Bingo! Full House
Perhaps someone should ring in and simply say "House"

Weren't Corbyn and Tony Benn, two of the great socialist idols for the left, anti-EU? I always found that interesting considering Margaret Thatcher, who the left/anti-EU folks despise, was more pro-EU than their idols.

I see elsewhere recently that Bangla was offended at James O'Briens use of a Scottish accent.

'Cultural inappropriation' was bandied about.

What sad life Bangla has.. 🤦

I didn't realise that Steve also has a heart condition. Heard him say that this morning. Bloody hell, he's a wreck haha. Surprised he's still going strong.
