I think it's fair to say that he was also if not drunk, then at least pretty tipsy, just judged by how silly he was leaving the restaurant.
Jumping in a pool whilst drunk is doubly stupid in my book. The more I see of him the more I think it's a miracle he hasn't managed to kill himself already.

If I was Alexa, I’d be annoyed as duck around him all the time too. Screaming in the hotel, having to be shushed by his mother. Kyle isn’t a 12 year old on a trip for the first time, but you’d never know watching him.
