i got to be honest ,it seems to me that the transgenda women (men who become women) have a easier time of it now. my mother died in1980, i was the only female left in the family, it was men only at the cemetry service/burial, the feeling of watching my brothers,father and grandfather leave in the car, was painful and later, i had to ask the park worker where her grave was as no one bothered to tell me. i was 21.

I honestly don't know how she can stand being on holiday for that long. I have been in a hotel for 5 days so far and I am ready to go home! It's not that I'm not having a good time, I am, but I don't really like staying in hotels for long. Just a question about Harvey, is this the second year at his college?
Am I right in thinking it was only a 2 year placement?
Will he be going back to Skank full time from Summer?

No. He will move on to somewhere else if his current provider can't keep him there. I haven't come across his college before, so I can't comment if there is an age limit. If not his time could be extended if he still met the criteria. Otherwise, he will go to an alternative placement. His college could also serve notice at any time, but it would be down to the disability team to find him alternative accommodation, even if it were a bespoke package.

I suspect H will be on a DOLS order and likely have a minimum staff ratio of 2 to 1 for his safety and others.

He will not be returned to KFP just because the two years are up. His time at college won't 'cure' him, H will need specialist care for the rest of his life, and it is highly unlikely he will ever live independently. If he were my client, I would be advocating for him to remain in specialist provision for the rest of his lifetime.

Can't be arsed to read it......but can someone tell me how I can get 4 weeks luxury holiday while my ASD kids are in respite care? Anyone? No? Didn't think so. Like countless others I get no respite. There is no fucking respite. We get on with it because we have no choice. We fight for our kids because we have no choice. We're knackered but we fight on. I'll be honest, there are days when I don't want to do it anymore because I'm physically & mentally exhausted. But even in my wildest dreams I cannot imagine that I would ever be parted from my kids for 4 weeks. I'd be happy for 48hrs & after that I'd be needing to get back to them. I'm talking in the sense of neurodiverse kids of any age that need mum & not neurotypical kids.
HARVEY IS IN A RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENT. IT IS NOT RESPITE CARE! Any neurodiverse child could not thrive with her as a mother. She offers absolutely nothing they need. Bloody hell, a neurotypical child could not cope with her as a mother long term. FFS arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

When I worked with learning disabled clients in the Community, I once had a young man who attacked his mother and his father was to frightened of him to care. I asked Social Services for emergency respite and got told there was none. I eventually found some in Wales , he lived in Liverpool. I eventually took him there at 9 o,clock at night despite me supposedly finishing at 5pm. What does she do, dump them anywhere and fuck of somewhere exotic while bankrupt and fucking morons call her a great mother. When will people see her for the selfish vicious troll she is. Really REALLY makes my blood boil.

Is it just me but I have always found all these newspaper articles about KFPs children distasteful. These are children under the age of 18.
