This makes my blood boil - there are so many families in abject poverty right now that would benefit from a home-makeover. Veterans, carers, people on the absolute breadline. There was a recent story of a 2 year old who DIED because his home was riddled with mould. THESE are the people who Channel 4 should be directing their money towards rather than someone who has had it all, spent it all, owes it all and who is so entitled, won't even appreciate the finished result. I give it four months before it's an absolute tit-tip again.
I despair of this so called "celebrity culture" where everything is expected for free and nothing is earned decently.

I generally hate these types of shows, find them really in your face and ostentatious for the reasons you stated. I watched one episode of the Chateau one where they didn't have 30k to fix the roof and then it just magically appeared. I'm guessing C4 stumped up the cash for that too. I thought, what a greedy pair, they even charged people to come and work for them. I can't watch the grand designs type ones either because I find it so wasteful the number of people building massive houses which would cost about 10 grand a year to heat. This sounds very dodgy but it's also sort of vague. I wonder if the blind is trying to imply the photos are sexualised, or is it more like when KP gets Bunny to pose in her horrible clothes? That would be advertising, which is one thing and not good.....but actually taking requests and selling specific photos, that would be a whole lot dodgier!
