I don't think he hit her. I think he's caught her texting and they've had a massive bust up which spilled out onto the street, and this is the charges CW faces. She's then ran to H's house, and went to Kirsty who has called an ambulance as KP is off her tits and the story has then been fabricated as she believes her and CW are over(I don't know if Kirsty is innocent or a co conspirator?). Family have arrived and removed KP's possessions as he's been arrested and have been told relationship is over. KP then sells her story to the sun throwing CW's under the bus because everything is a money making opportunity! They've gotten back together and try and backtrack believing police will drop charges but they don't, and the tit hits the fan!

Not forgetting when she was at the NTA awards with Sophie and Harvey she was at the after party pished up telling everyone she was single, that was about a week after slapgate I thinkSo he's saying he's sticking in a relationship with someone who accused him of slapping her, sold a story to the papers saying so, and allegedly she was pressurised into selling this story about the alleged slap which was all lies orchestrated by the ex PR lady. That same night she tried to chat up some reporter, who said she was too old, and pretty much told her to duck off
We've all been eagerly waiting for some tea to spill, little did we know CW had a massive teapot 
I believe that he threatened her and was verbally abusive, and that this was witnessed and possibly recorded by someone else, which is why he's been charged. It was then cooked up by Katie and perhaps Kirsty when they realised that it'd be in the papers to imply that he'd punched her, to not only get revenge on him (we've seen how spiteful and vengeful she can be to her previous partners) and of course, for Katie's main motivation in life; money. Everything that followed, eg. Kieran being called to pick up the kids etc, was all part of the lie.
I had never considered it until tonight, perhaps as I am too naive to believe that even she could stoop low enough to make a false claim of domestic violence, but it's all clicking into place for me now. Like others have said, it didn't look like a fresh bruise and coincidentally tied in to her recently having surgery, which could have caused the bruising. At the time I thought it was strange that she went to the papers the next day; from my experience as a social worker and of experiencing domestic violence myself, victims of domestic violence go through a range of emotions including denial, fear, and shame - many find it difficult to enough to show their injuries to their families and the police, let alone the national newspapers straight after for the whole country to see. If it was a bullshit story to make money from the papers then it would explain her reasons for this. The fact that the police escorted Katie & Carl a week or two later to the Mucky Mansion while they were both in HIS car also seemed strange.. the only reason I can think of is that by this point they'd reunited and spun the police the story that it was all down to Kirstie, and were expecting to see her at MM? Or they convinced police that Kirstie had done sort of damage to the house or something of that nature.
Either way, if it is indeed a lie, Carl is such a numpty for putting up with it and staying with her. He says nobody can control Katie.. if that's the case and he can't control or coerce her, then neither could Kirsty. Even if it was Kirstie's brainwave to begin with, it was Katie who executed it. I think they believe their own hype,they will have thought because of all the things Katie has been let off with he would have been let off aswell, then their plan was to post see we told you it was lies or it was misinterpreted,but it’s fell flat because Carl has been charged and now he is no longer playing ball, He won’t cover for her anymore if he is going down he is taking her with him, she’s saying on his stories I never called the police (well someone did sweet cheeks) and he never hit me if what he is saying is true and she lied ,then she should be charged with wasting police time ,Carl has hid my posts obviously doesn’t like the truth

I haven't posted on KP thread for a while catching up I don't know the ins and out. . I'm guessing she never pressed charges I'm wondering why the CPS are still pushing the prosecution and for section 4 public order not assault, theft and coercive control? I'm guessing a witness made a statement and that's how they can charge him? My mind's fucked from it all I wonder what actually happened 
My thoughts are. They did have a huge row. She has been off her head sold a story told Cole that nothing would ever come of it except the very large payment. He has went along on the condition that if anything happened him he would spill on everyone involved. He has nothing to loose by spilling the beans. Others have.

I don’t believe it was kirsty’s idea to go to the press. I reckon it was KP’s and she went along with it because she believed KP when she said he hit her. Poor cows now getting the blame.
