Unfortunately children become numb to this sort of thing since it’s so routine. Later in life it will resurface. That’s why the best thing that can be done is to completely strip her of her rights to them. Let them decide when they’re older if they want to rebuild that relationship, assuming she’s still alive.

I was brought up by an abusive mother. I was very resilient as a child but as soon as I was a teenager it hit me like a ton of bricks. Those babies are gonna be in therapy for life. Or they will develop a personality disorder just like me. No cure for this awful mental health problem. It affects you for the rest of ur life.
