Party was a success. LO and pup are both shattered, as am I. RLF made it downstairs to sing happy birthday and is now asleep again.

Would just like to add, that when I have been ill as a parent, life just carries on. Tonsillitis? Worked from home and took care of LO. Norovirus? Looked after LO and myself. Covid? Worked, looked after LO and myself. Cramps and bloodloss 3 days a month, every month? Life goes on.

So glad it went well!!! 🤍 this is why men are sometimes only good for one thing and even that it’s sometimes lacking!

All I can see right now are his hamstrings. I want to poke them and ask what is wrong with them that they keep tearing. Technically he's doing everything to keep that from happening, so why does it?

I wonder if you can feel scar tissue in them like I can with mine or if his is way less pronounced because he had prompt and thorough treatment and more than 6 weeks of PT 2-3x a week.
