That Loose Women appearance was obvious PR management. Like they wheeled him out, got him to say the usual boring blurb like a broken record about eating whole foods, exercise and getting some sleep, everyone clapped and agreed. His target audience will now be looking at his app. Hurrah! Continue with the money-making machine that is the body coach. Nothing to see here until the next time he goes off script and reveals what a thick twit he really is.

I actually suspect one of his children is neurodiverse, there are clear signs.
As I said yesterday, the odds are high at least one will be as it’s genetic and he’s clearly ND himself

Both my kids have adhd so I’m 2/2 over here. One of them has autism too so party doesn’t stop in our house. They’re both perfect just the way they are and I don’t like this idea that Joe is pushing that bad food = bad adhd it’s all so negative!

Which one 👀

I see neurodivergence everywhere and often get people screaming that just because a child has a couple of traits, that doesn’t mean they’re ND. Of course I know that, people are just so touchy at what they perceive as people seeking fake diagnoses, “everyone wants a label these days” (🤬)

I'm a pretty relaxed parent but seeing her edge past the washing up carrying a huge jar gave me the heebie jeebies.
Then just letting her dip a finger in and then spill it all down her top 🤢 fingers and double dipping with spoons into jars not allowed in my kitchen!

One of my children is suspected ADHD. I have been pushing against him being diagnosed but eventually school will probably force the issue. People like Joe trying to say it's my fault that he can't focus and sit still, upsets me. Obviously it's nonsense but it makes you start questioning yourself! We often cook healthy meals from scratch and he doesn't even like chocolate or sweets (all the Halloween sweets are still uneaten). But he obviously also has chicken nuggets and pizza some of the time. Doesn't everyone do that? The rest of his class presumably sometimes have chicken nuggets too, but they don't have the same difficulty focusing 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's utter nonsense based on old ideas about sugar and e numbers and hyperactivity. Which has been largely debunked for all kids not just adhd kids. There is new research going on looking at how diet can help symptoms.. like having a high protein breakfast. But this is just helping the symptoms, is not a cure, never will be and his comment about misdiagnosis is horseshit he's read in the daily mail or something.

His celebrity defenders all blowing smoke up his arse are sickening. There is a level of fame they all get to when they truly do seem to believe they are infallible and uncriticizeable (is that a made up word?!)

Please don’t stop a diagnosis. I know it’s scary but it will (hopefully) help him achieve his potential as sadly you struggle to get support with a diagnosis let alone without. Also, for jobs if adaptations are needed he is protected by law. Also, he will understand himself so much more and not feel ashamed if he’s not feeling like he’s to hide who he is. I share with the world I’m neurodivergent since I discovered I am. I feel empowered by it. Yeah I have moments where I realise the world isn’t made for me but I also love challenging people’s preconceived ideas of what autism and adhd are. It blows their minds. I keep hoping if I spread the word then I can help change peoples perceptions and they will be more accepting in future. Sadly dickheads like Joe show you why people don’t want diagnosed 😢

Agree with all of this.

Refusing to get your child diagnosed won’t make them any less ADHD. They’ll just be left wondering why they aren’t like neurotypical kids, and hating themselves for it. Been there, done that. I didn’t get my autism diagnosis until last year.

My husband didn’t want our daughter to have an autism diagnosis (even though he knew she was) because he felt it would hold her back in life. I went behind his back. Fast forward three years and she understands herself so well, and advocates for herself too (if her social battery is wiped out, she knows what to do).

ND kids deserve to know that they’re ND, not failed neurotypicals.

bangs on about diet and processed food but is giving his toddler fizzy drinks (yes Joe, tonic water is a fizzy drink and full of sugar) he really is a hypocrite!

That tonic water has 5g of sugar per 100ml which is the same as Fanta!

I was honestly expecting him to add a splash of gin.

Thank you, I know you're right it's just the stigma of admitting there is 'something wrong with him' and the fact that he can't do what the other kids can do. Also, some extremely poor family experiences with stimulant drugs have made me nervous about medicating him.

He definitely must read here…after all the safety /feral kid talk “ooh I’m just gonna let my kids stand on the furniture and let the youngest handle a glass while at risk of falling har har”

On his stories today he said he'd been working with Children in Need and talking about child mental health. On what basis is he qualified to be talking about this topic? Surely after the ADHD fiasco he would learn to stay in his lane?

Didn’t you know, exercise banishes any mental health problems 🙄

He was a self declared expert on child nutrition after indie had been on solids for a fortnight, now he’s decided he’s also a menopause specialist, educational psychologist and child psychiatrist.

Let's not also forget his expert teachings on how to make porridge, how to pre-warm a thermos flask and my personal favourite of the best way to teach children to swim is to take them to a swimming pool.

Today's expert advice was to chop veg really small so kids can't avoid eating it. Wow, who knew 😂
